not really. WSU always fucks up their chances and they did it again. They missed out on a lot of opportunities in the beginning of the game. That no call near the end was kind of irritating, but still don't think they would have came back.

While I do agree that the no call on the end was bad and very blatant, I would also like to point out the invisible face mask call when it was 3rd and 12 on the Ducks. It seemed that the refs were trying to make it close except for that last call.

All well. Moral of the story is that Ducks play like the Packers of the NFL. Explosive offense can be explosive, terribad defense.

Their defense is terrible, their scheme sucks. They lost a lot of players but they should be better.

Their O-line had 5 returning starters and was suppose to be a strength. Instead they are playing walk- ons and freshmen due to all the injures. Instead of rolling out their QB they insist on having him drop back and get clobbered play after play. Their skill players are as good as they get but are being put in a position to fail.

If they stay the course they will be lucky to win another game.

Other than their O-Line I don't recall making any excuses and there is no excuse for playing soft defense with no sense of urgency. Oregon's offense has been good despite adversity. The defense just gets throttled. Pellum needs to take that walk of shame and move on.

and I watched them play Utah tonight

Had that WR not been an idiot the outcome would have probably been different. That game was a helluva lot closer than the final score would indicate. That WR tossing the ball at the 2 yard line killed Utah. That 14 point swing that took place in a matter of seconds completely changed the game and took away Utah's momentum. Had to be top 5 dumbest shit I've ever witnessed.

I've watched several of Oregon's games this season. They will easily get knocked out in round 1 if they luck out and make the playoffs.

I bet that receiver is on suicide watch. I don't think I've ever seen that before. It should have been 14-0 Utah but was 7-7 in a matter of seconds because of the single dumbest thing I've ever seen. Everyone is comparing this to Beebe running down Lett in the SB but this was worse. Lett was being careless and had the ball stripped. #8 for Utah literally just tossed the ball at the 2 yard line because he thought he was already in the end zone. I mean, the guy and a couple of his teammates were in the back of the end zone celebrating while most of Oregon's defense was running toward the Utes end zone. Crazy shit.

Almost as bad but #8 just dropped the ball well short of the GL and jumped around in the EZ celebrating (with a couple of teammates) while Oregon ran the fumble back for a TD on the other end. Jackson's was kinda borderline as he almost made the GL. #8's wasn't even close.
