Been awhile since I've dropped a dime into this game. Actually been awhile since I've played it. What killed it for me was the push for GLB2. I tried GLB2 and it just wasn't maintaining my interest. I'm a season 1 vet and feel like they just took a dump on GLB1 and it's users. Building a rival game was just plain stupid.

Just logged back in a couple weeks ago to see what was going on. Still have a ton of flex to burn so I checked out the leagues to see how many teams were around these days. Just wow is all I can say. Maybe 10% of what there use to be play this game it looks like. Didn't even bother looking at GLB2 as I stated above, just not interested.

Not sure how they can gain interest back. I'm having a hard time spending my remaining flex. And the Mighty Brawlers thingy doesn't look appealing either. I guess if they ever decided to do more with GLB1 it might bring me back more. Just don't seeing it happen though.

feel free to tell them to merge your account into mine and ill use that flex for you.

I will tell you on popular thing, that, if brought back would make this game popular again

CASH

Trading for, trying to figure out who gets better contracts....... all the shit that made people cry about it needs to come back, because without cash, this game died out quick

I remember Bort way back when saying that cash was going to mean something to the point where our players could buy items like bling and other shit. That never happened. He done a 360 and made it meaningless. Cash made it much more interesting to the owner and also harder to sign players. I remember the max contract only forum posts in the players looking for team section. Fun days it was.

Not gonna happen. I'm still waiting for hookers and coke to come as a way to spend flex

I don't know if it ha been said or not but in order to get new people to join they will have to have them be allowed to create a player on any day they discover the sight. Not wait until the start of the next season. Should be able to create a new (rookie) player and build him up to the current level of other rookie players so you can join a rookie team and start playing right away.

They do that at 2.0. Wish they would have added all the great ideas people had for this game to this game.

Dude... I posted that as a suggestion... probably more than once... and have solidly said as much for a LONG time. Of all the simple coding junk that COULD'VE been done to give the game some fun and a little life, why that particular idea never went anywhere is beyond me. I'm guessing that, by that time, WG already knew it was gonna let this thing die off and simply didn't want to put any major effort into it. IMO.

I think we need more of this:

http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player_awards.pl?player_id=4435273

Clearly this is what GLB has been missing all along, a team that was built to throw the ball on 100% of downs to the exact same WR every single time, no exceptions.

...and his less successful buddy the TE:

http://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4387491

Clearly this is what GLB has been missing. Not since LHF has a team been so successful at exploiting the system to try and break the HoF.

A 180.

A 360 would mean a complete rotation and going back in the direction that he started, which is the exact opposite of what you meant.
