100% spot on. Terrible move by the NFL imo.

Very few real fans can afford tickets to the super bowl, tickets are ate up by corporations and then given to a bunch of fair weather fans who prolly haven't watched 10 minutes total of football all season.I hope they freeze their assess off

I kind of like the seahawks team but I want them to lose just to hear the seahawk fans cry about it

Pretty much this. I am a Badger fan, so obviously like Russell Wilson .... Love watching a guy like Lynch, continue to carry that offense, and get no respect (but is quiet about it) .... Love watching a defense that is nasty. All that being said, I am a neutral fan in this game. I will cheer for the Broncos for a few reasons: 1) Peyton Manning 2) To hear the band wagon fans cry about Seattle losing 3) To shut up the casual fan, that knows nothing about the game, but is running their mouth about a player they probably hardly know. Go Denver. Seattle will have every advantage in this game, with it being held in NY ... but I still think the better TEAM wins.

Okay, quick question, because I've seen this from several people now... where did this idea come from that the cold/bad weather is going to favor Seattle? Last I checked, it gets colder in Denver than it does in Seattle, and both teams play outdoors. It's not like Seattle is playing the Bucs or the Saints or something.

There was a report that said manning couldn't play in the cold, a couple of years ago I think.

Here is a recent one that refutes that analysis and says that all QB's play worse in cold weather.

Is that all? Wow.

He's been in Denver the past two seasons and has had the best two seasons of his career. I know Denver isn't actually quite as cold as people think it is, but it's not exactly a tropical paradise either, and I'm still pretty sure it's colder than Seattle.

Also, doesn't anybody remember Wild-Card weekend, when the 49ers and the Saints were supposed to fold like lawn chairs in the Polar Vortex? I'm sure they didn't bring their A-games, but they still found a way to overcome the cold and win anyway.

If Denver loses, I seriously doubt it'll be because of the weather. It'll be because Seattle's defense kept up with Manning's adjustments, or because Russell Wilson had the game of his fuckin' life.

Should be a good game. Gonna enjoy it. I always love these #1 offense vs #1 defense showdowns.
