Is it possible to un-retire players? If not why?

Kinda silly that nobody on the GLB1 side of things has the ability to get Bort's attention.

Yes, that would be silly!

First of all, my comment was in response to gbororats, a Moderator, posting this:

That sure makes it sound like nobody on the GLB1 side of things has the ability to get Bort's attention.

Second of all, this thread was started December 23rd. It is now January 17th, and you're the first Admin to say anything at all in this thread, almost a month later. And the issue still hasn't been fixed.

Again... the sure makes it look like nobody on the GLB1 side of things has the ability to get Bort's attention.

.....

Now, is this a game-breaking issue? No. But considering the lack of Admin response on this until now, you coming in three weeks later and posting something that dismissive to me just comes across as... well... silly.

Seriously, guys, isn't there a YouTube video about Customer Service that y'all can watch or something, just to introduce yourselves to the basic tenets of how to properly communicate with your paying customers?

Probably just to keep things as simple as possible for Bort. Not a bad reason, actually.

Is this going to be fixed, or are will still in the just buy more flex for a broken game I can't be bothered to fix stage?

This is an absolute joke by the way. You have to realize the frustration here from the obvious lack of cares will no-doubt carry over and directly effect GLB-Street Fighter or whatever it's being called.

Bingo. They've set up the pattern that, after a certain amount of time, they stop caring about a new game once it's not new anymore.

That's not a good pattern to establish, because it poisons the well for all future games.

Six years is well past "not new".

Instead of commenting, how about you go fix this?

But you have set this pattern with all the games you have spent 6 years on and then dumped for the next one.

Well...its not dumped. If something is gamebreaking we fix it.

People are overreacting a bit to not being able to see retired players named retired players. Bort said he fixed it but because of people that ran the script that made thousands and thousands of players and retired them if they didnt get break throughs...loading all of them crashes the servers. So he turned it back off.

Perhaps people would not have overreacted if this had been explained 4 or 5 weeks ago instead of saying that it had been fixed and that it was not a bug?

Nope. I'm reacting to the fact that this issue went nearly a month before being acknowledged, the fact that the first official acknowledgement of this issue was by a moderator who told us that we'd have to post over on GLB2 just to get Bort to come back to GLB1 to fix this, and the fact that the first Admin response on this issue was rather dismissive in nature.

The problem itself is only slightly annoying.

The reaction to the problem by Warrior General's staff is far more troubling, and speaks volumes about the current state of GLB1 and its priority-level in the minds of Warrior General's staff.
