I remember, once upon a time, several very active forums for National Pro leagues. Oh what fun it was. Even regional pro and semi-pro had some activity (or AAA, BBB).
Time to end World League? Instead have a World Tournament? After playoffs, top 4 teams finishing in playoffs in each league go to tournament, like a sweet 16. Each team in one league plays teams from other leagues. Maybe it would bring back the old rivalries and relevance to Nat Pro leagues. Your team would get a trophy for sweet 16, elite 8, final four, semi, runner up and championship like NCAA basketball does.
This would take 8 days, so it would take up the offseason for those top teams, allowing rest to recruit and catch up, so top teams would have less time, thus it would be harder to stay at the top with fresh rosters, meaning there would be more parity.
This won't ever happen, but just a thought.

The elite minor forums were great. Plateau is the killer.
