The Buckeyes game, while easily won, worried me a bit. Our D was pretty horrible...either that or Buffalo has a very nasty Offense...which is obviously doubtful.

The Tackles on the line didn't do a great job either, hopefully they get better as the season goes.

Sad thing is living in the heart of Big10 country, it gets so much hype around here, but I have begun to drink the SEC Kool Aid. The top Big10 teams would be average in the SEC (as would the top teams in the other conferences).

Everyone hyping ND/Michigan around here and the sad thing is that the winner of that game will get false hope that they are something great, when in fact both teams are (and will likely always be) overrated because of their history and fan base.

BIG Ten has the Same problem the Pac 12 does, Academic standards, While they are lowered significantly for athletes they are not eliminated like the SEC.

The Washington Huskies almost never get JC kids because we don't offer a physical education degree.
Not that you want to build a team around JC kids but with the T-9 80 scholarship limitations 3 or 4 JC kids a season to fill some holes would be nice. I long for the good olds of 110 scholarships although it has been very good for smaller programs, the kids 81- to 110 are now playing for Likes of Montana Sate instead of waiting to make the 2 deeps as a SR. LOL!

Part of the Glory of College Football is the awesome tradition! I would love to see Michigan and Ohio State carry the Big ten back to prominence, Just as long as the Pac 12 is a step better! LOL!

Went to the UT Vols game this Saturday...that's a stadium you need to emulate!!!

Remember there aren't a ton of other college teams in the area. I could throw a rock and hit UNC and NC State. Did i mention that Wake forest is a little over a hour away. Not to mention this is a basketball first state. UT is 100k stadium. A good amount of our staff worked at UT so i know a little bit about them. Never been to it but from what i hear it's a top 10 stadium in the country when there good.

Lol...don't have to tell me. I live here...and work in RTP..all anyone talks about is Basketball..and being an FSU guy, all I want to talk is football/baseball. So unless someone like NCSU upsets FSU in football, I'm bored half the time...Going to a UT game is as good as going to most any NFL game, and better than many!!! The only downside is you have to smuggle in your alcohol...
