but this is better than a ton of empty copper leagues i suppose even though it wont change much for the upper tier teams

In all honesty, I don't think they went far enough. Probably have 1 or 2 leagues too many after the restructure.

There will still be 4 silver leagues with prolly 18 CPUs in each. All this change does is clear up some copper clutter. Doesn't really change anything from a competitive standpoint unless winning copper is a priority.

And this change actually makes it easier for mediocre teams to win trophies. As it stands now, you can do fuck all and hang around in gold forever never sniffing a trophy. With the new structure if you are one of those teams you will drop down every other season and have a shot at a silver trophy on your way back up.

This is true. I would like to see Silver leagues by demand kind of like regulars. Have all human owned leagues and one last league with teams for sale(CPUs). Might make promotion to Gold a bit funky though.

this wouldn't work unless they changed the PWG promotion system to allow only the human owned leagues ...and the CPU league team only can get promoted to the human silver leagues

There's only 4 Silver Leagues listed for promotion, so what would occur for teams within PWS5?

This is a good question. Maybe they put the carriage in front of the horse or the promote/demote will not start until the end of next season after the contraction.

If it wasnt for my persistence, silver and copper leagues wouldn't have been reduced. Now come up with a suggestion that you and everyone can vote on without Romo closing it in 3.2 minutes after Dub j reads it.

32 teams are the format of the entire game. Why would it change...

I can't believe individual agents are trying to take all the credit for something that has been kicked around and discussed for close to 20 seasons.

This was clearly all my idea. If it sucks then I had nothing to do with it.

Does it really do much of anything? Are there even 16 human silver teams? Are they any better than the demoters? Too little too late imo.

We all have made suggestions and I know LE and Gerr and yourself Osiris, have made the most complete suggestions to date. I sure know only because Dub message catch they came up with this master plan t ofix PW is BS. I messaged Catch 3 weeks ago and he hasnt read it yet. Dud j has him on AIM..
