Defensive Rankings of Bevo XII schools:

TCU - 16th
Texas Tech - 38th
Kansas St. - 45th
Oklahoma - 64th
t.u. - 67th
Oklahoma St. - 80th
Iowa St. - 94th
West Virginia - 108th
Kansas - 113th
Baylor - 119th

70% of the schools are in the bottom half defensively.

Defensive Rankings of SEC schools:

Alabama - 1st 250 ypg (We gained 418)
Florida - 5th 287 ypg (We gained 334)
LSU - 8th 308 ypg (We gained 410)
South Carolina - 11th
Vanderbilt - 19th
Georgia - 32nd
Ole Miss - 46th 376 ypg (We gained 481)
Mississippi St. - 52nd 387 ypg (We gained 693)
Texas A&M - 57th
Missouri - 58th 391 ypg (We gained 647)
59th Kentucky
Arkansas 73rd 410 ypg (We gained 716)
Auburn 79th 421 ypg (We gained 671)
Tennessee - 107th

We were more successful against much better defenses in every game we played against them, but you think the Big XII defenses could hold us...

Oh yeah:

Oklahoma - 64th 398 ypg (We gained 633) (Y'all gained 289)

...and yet....you won a non-BCS bowl game, same as us....

Fact is, the defenses in SEC were not ready for the offense/QB you had. They don't play up-tempo, mobile QBs on a week-in-week-out basis.

...and once again, with all the stats you seem to care a lot more about how you compare with Texas than you do about WINNING the league/conference you are IN now.....3rd place in your conference got you what you deserved....

Big Time envy, imo.....go win the SEC then come back and grin...

Hmmm, neutral on whole Bevo vs. SEC thing, yet don't RayRay's stats also mean that the offenses suck in the SEC?

Total Offense:

Texas A&M - 3rd
Tennessee - 18th
Georgia - 22nd
Alabama - 31st
Ole Miss - 46th
Arkansas - 49th
Mississippi St. - 79th
Vanderbilt - 80th
South Carolina - 82nd
LSU - 85th
Missouri - 96th
Florida- 103rd
Kentucky - 113th
Auburn - 115th

Not the most potent of offensive numbers (sans A&M), but they also play SEC defenses 8 times. The SEC teams averaged 34 ppg in their bowl games, which would rank as a team 25th nationally and is uninflated by scrub OOC matchups since they all played bowl-eligible teams.

My point is that we played much better defenses than what is in the Bevo 12, and our offense produced better than their opponents did on average every game. The question you should be asking yourself is why y'all only could score 25 ppg the last half of the season against scrub Bevo 12 defenses.

Squeaking out an Alamo Bowl win versus a PAC scrub = Dominating OU in the Cotton Bowl in sip eyes. Oh how the times have changed

I'll propose some questions to go with that last bit....
When was the last conference championship tamu won? 1998
When was the last natty tamu won? 1939

Head-to-head with Texas -
Last game against Texas? Lost

Recent streaks against Texas?
1-3 last 4
3-9 in last 12

Same ole aggies....think they've done something by being better than Texas when Texas is at it's lowest point in 16 years.....

As I said, go win something then come back and grin.....only thing that has changed at this point is the conference you play in....

What exactly happens when a team wins your conference now? They get to get curbstomped in a bowl game from a team in a real conference? Face it: the Big XII is now the Big East.

I'd think you could use context clues to understand my inference...perhaps I was wrong...

I'll stick with this....not so worried about the conference, but since you have no answer for this, you chose to change direction....

You mention our worst decade plus stretch in history while complaining that I mention yours. QQ...

Keep jumping back in the Delorean Marty, that way you can pretend your team is relevant and your conference isn't a dumpster fire.
