I don't know what the rules are there - I think instead of next team down (which I assume is us) they might keep the 9th place team from WL?
Who would know the rules on this - Support I assume?

Yeah 9th place team in WL will steam im pretty sure. Same thing happened season or two ago for Alpine i think.

Probably fairer as 9th in WL is a damn sight better performance than 1-1 in WEPL playoffs imo.
Though maybe it should be highest placed Western Europe WL team that didn't make playoffs?

tbh it would feel undeserved getting up to WL without 2 Playoff wins so I am going to hold off 10 seconds before I scurry off to support to log a ticket so that the WL teams have a chance.

Yeah, it is usually something that Catch works out, but happens just about every season. So, for this season an 8-8 team like Dogs of War or E-City will get the "Wu-motion"
Going 8-8 in WL is not an easy feat, so they are worth it. However, I have a feeling that Ice and Fire is a young strong team that is going to find its way to WL before long

Probably best to let Support know this in addition to selecting the decline promotion to WL option as we do not allow teams to decline promotion unless they are resetting and there is no way for us to know this unless the team tells us (and I'm not Support but I was sent a pm asking about the rules for promotion to WL in this instance so I checked out this thread)
