Catch said in chat that active (logged in in the last 3 days) users are still 10k+ (same as a year+ ago). Far from life support.

I log in a few times a week but no longer play the game and rarely post anymore. Monitoring how many users are logging in is a terrible way to determine game activity. That information is basically irrelevant from a business standpoint.

Would rather know how many new dots are being created now compared to a year ago... how many different users are creating those new dots compared to a year ago.... Number of teams owned now versus last year and by how many different users... Number of new post made in the forms... etc

Good points. We are also assuming that Catch22 is actually talking truth here versus throwing out the company line. Anyone that is still plugged into this game heavily can pretty plainly see that it is not as robust as years past. We are also comparing to one year ago AFTER the huge exodus....... lets compare to year 2, year 3. Prb a better picture to paint TBPH for both the user base and as a business profile.

Yep. I'll never forget when we convinced everyone CoP was eating its own.

When the Saigon Whores were in SE Asia Pro I know those forums were pretty good. I don't remember the exact seasons but the forums were always active and there were alot of decent teams back then.

Old slap and USAPL forums were pretty fun, too.

The most fun I had in a forum was in USA AAA somewhere around season 7 or 8ish?

Lesbians, Chocolate (whatever they were before the blaze merged with em?), Stoners, and a ton of other teams with really active guys who just ripped on each other and had fun doing it. I think forum moderation got so overpowered because of that forum, tbh...

write ups and league commentary are what I enjoy the most.
Over moderation doesnt kill that so much as a loss of novelty.
