No, I believe it and I'm not happy with the outcome of that sim either. The AA took over and started doing stupid stuff for me on offense.

I saw the play you mentioned about the TE. I agree. It is similar to the multiple defender chasing the ball carrier down the sideline that causes holdups on the slower defenders that's never really been fixed. The 7 interceptions in the game were a bit ridiculous as well.
