Week 4 update


1 Black STEEL City Mafia 4-0 They slapped around smutra and they will stay in this top spot unless some team steps up and gives them a loss. This is the team all 15 teams need to shoot for and bring their A game.

2 Chico High Panthers 4-0 Chico once again bring a top ranked defense and a efficient offense. They definitely look like the second best team in the conference.

3 Komodo Dragon 2-2 - I can't ignore that 2-2 record but look at the teams they lost to. If they loose to San Diego they will drop down the rankings more but until then they stay top 3.

4 Barossa Grapestompers 3-1-0 - They keep rolling along and proving they are a legit contender. They have a big game this week to see if they deserve to be ranked up here

5 Black Hand Goal Line Mafia 4-0 Could argue the 4-0 start is schedule related, this game will show us where we really stand.

6 San Diego Supa Chargers 3-1 monster game this week vs komodo. Time for this team to show they can play with the big boys.

7 Christchurch Fighting Maori 2-2 Wow, did java expose this team and show the rest of the league how to beat them or did they overlook java?

8 Sumatra Seahawks 1-3 - I expected a loss vs steel. Never thought i'd consider a smutra vs java game a huge game but here it is. Will this be a bounce back game for smutra? If not they will continue the slide down my rankings

9 NY-CA Ground Pounders 3-1 Only winning by 3 over outlaw has me concerned I might be over estimating this team.

10 Java Brewers 3-1- Impressive win but the blowout loss to pounders still has me

11 South Side Freebies 1-32 This is a team that I feel might be able to make a hell of a run once chemistry recovers. They have been playing well in tight losses

12 Razorback Nation 1-3- Much needed win last week but up next is steel city. This team needs to pull off some upset wins and steel some games vs teams that overlook them in order to stay in pro.

13 Texas Aztecs 1- 3 They have been able to compete but not pulling out the wins.

14 Stockholm Black Death 1-3 not looking very promising so far but up next is a very winnable game.

15 Outlaw Midgets 1-3 - they gave pounders a good fight and was enough to move them up off the bottom spot. A win over black death could get them up the rankings a bit

16 Tampa Bay Scorpions 0-4 - This is a game they have a shot where they could get that elusive first pro win.

Thanks for the write-up! Definitely makes the league and the forum more interesting.

Well, I tried to go with 100% QB runs to introduce you to TeetBagged, but my situational shit had a few more passes than I'd like to have had....... you did manage to give up almost 700 yards on 22 carries though. gg...... imagine if it had been 50 carries like I planned.

I did not. I guess I shoulda tagged you. My generic D does not handle wildcat QBs without tagging.

Thanks for the scrim. The losses are the only ones that I bother to scout to see how things are working, so they are useful.

If you call "scheming" going in and changing 15% to 100%, then yes I schemed the hell out of your team genius. GG. If you want, I'll go scout your team and we can play again. If you keep us under 150, I'll give you a cookie......

TBH though, like tpat said in the other thread, it does look like you have consolidated your better dots onto one team, and are doing better this season. Maybe you can actually take the next step and actually learn how to play the game in front of you, versus complaining that the game wasn't built to fit your idea of what football is....... step 1, learn how to stop a rQB (not that you could stop any of mine even if you had a plan, but..... ).
