Guy buys a team ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=6815 ) and sends out contract offers. I decide to sign my QB and try and help out a new owner. I sign the contract then the guy goes missing. Has not signed on since the day he sent out the contract offers.

We're now at Day 0, the season is starting, and I'm not on the depth chart. I cannot retire the dot to build another before the season kicks off and I cannot get placed on the depth chart to gain experience.

Owner's last action was Oct. 11. Today is Oct. 13.

Sucks to not have the team ready to go, and certainly this isn't model ownership behavior, but I am not really sure you can write a guy off for being away from the game for a day. Maybe he logs in today...

make a thread in main about it

After 10 days of inactivity you need to contact support and they will try to resolve the issue for you. I know that doesn't help you now but it is what it is at this point.

Just do your due diligence and research the next team you want to join. Send PM's to some agents currently on the team to see how the owner is and so on before accepting any contracts.

you don't need to be on the depth chart to gain XP

Yeah, I understand being away only 2 days isn't that much, but it's a relatively bad idea to be away during the last few days of the off-season all the way into the first day of the season without setting your depth chart or signing any other human players.

I've been around long enough, been on many Pro teams with many players. Like I said, I was just trying to help a new owner out by giving him a player. It's extremely frustrating to then end up stuck between a rock and a hard place, off the depth chart at the start of the season (with potential for it to drag on).

As for gaining experience without being on the depth chart, if that's true, it's not so bad. Still sucks, as obviously I'd rather see him play, but if he's not rotting it's not as bad. I thought you had to be on the depth chart.

I agree that this is bad team ownership IF nothing is wrong, but emergencies do arise sometimes, so it may be best not to rush too quick to judgement just in case.

Rarely. Plus, I lost interest and hardly logged in for more then training for the last year or so.

OMG the hasn't logged in, in 2 days.... I would hardly call that inactive, maybe if it was the third day,,,. but your QB is screwed, send a ticket to support in 12 days
