I don't post much, but I use to do the rankings in many leagues and it takes a lot of time and effort so thank you for making this league forum enjoyable

Thanks everybody. It's going to be interesting seeing how they split up the pro leagues. I've always had a soft spot for APL so I haven't decided yet if I'll continue the Tusk in another form after the restructuring. Most of you are stuck with my crappy dots on your teams anyways

My guess is that they're going to attempt to maintain the integrity of the regions while contracting the leagues. It's pretty easy to do that my now having Africa Pro Conference and South America Pro Conference in the South Atlantic Pro League, USA Pro Conference and Canada Pro Conference in North America Pro League, etc. That is what I would do if I were in their position. I wonder how many people realize that making the playoffs in the Pros this season does not guarantee them a spot in Nat Pro next season?
Either way, I thank you for all the seasons man. As you know, I've been in Africa for a long time, way back to the Eaton Beavers of AAA #2, then with Dakar, NFL'sMW, Canton, South Bend, and popped up on a few teams in between. Hoping to APL it's first real WL Gold this season with us, Nairobi and Excel all having legit shots. Hell, I still pop into this forum sometimes to see what's going on despite having no players in APL this season. It'll be missed.

?
Future will be with 4 Nat Pro Leagues . 32 teams per league. 128 Total teams.
Currently we have 256 teams in Nat pro. Of those 128 will be playoff teams.
Shouldn't that work out? Also there will be guts and cpu teams that will move up non playoff teams...

oh i see they are not doing it that way
--Demoting WL teams, in order of record, normal tiebreakers (playoff wins, playoff games played, wins, ties, points allowed, points scored) - 16 teams assuming no CPUs or guts
--Top 80 playoff pro teams by normal tiebreakers - 80 teams assuming no CPUs or guts (running total 96) - keep them in the same related leagues
--Top 18 elite teams by normal tiebreakers - 18 teams assuming no CPUs or guts (running total 114)
--Top 14 competitive teams by normal tiebreakers - 14 teams assuming no CPUs or guts (running total 128)
adding "competitive league" teams is silly over border line current nat pro playoff teams
