Looks like Hardcore stepped up and has entered a team in the challenge.

Some good ole trash talking network battles sounds like fun, I would definitely pay attention to those games. Have to do something to make this game entertaining again.

Well, you can't do any trash talking with the Commission. They will report you and get you banned.

The Commission. I honestly don't know how they have any members. They are dry, humorless sourpusses.

That's what I miss about the early days of GLB, lots of rivalry's and ton's of trash talk. Sure a lot of it was trolling, but at least this game was somewhat active.

The report button is what killed all that. It's too easy for some butthurt scrub to hit that little button and cry to the mods. The sad part is most likely the people doing most of the reporting in league forums are lurkers. What's it matter to them if something in the forum is offensive if they never contribute anything?

tbh I would prefer trolls then to have a bunch of lurkers around everywhere. The sim isn't what I think is the biggest problem with the game. I think it's the fact that there is not much interaction between teams anymore and now networks. What the hell is the purpose of the network if you don't battle other networks to find out whos the best? I thought that's why we play sports games, to find out who's the best. GLB right now is like watching the Golden Girls show, except that show had more trash talk.

Personally I don't understand the whole network idea in this PvP game. Back when it was every man (team) for himself and best recruiting wins this game was much more fun. If you won gold, you won gold. Now if you're with a network you win part of gold since the network is going to claim it as their own.
