I'll be the first to admit I'm clueless when it comes to lolCasual, I stick to regular 99.9% of the time.

That said ... looking at those particular CPU teams ... they're beating other CPU squads in the same age group in the range of 100-255 to 0. So rather than writing it off as "oh terribad teams" ... actually looking at what's going on MIGHT be worthwhile.

There IS something strange going on with NOT ALL, but a few of those CPU squads.

I'm not freaking out, I'm not butt hurt ... I'm really zero cares, it's lolCasual.

Just saying, instantly dismissing shit in the usual GLB "fixurbuilds" manner ... is oh yeah, what these forums are all about. Carry on then ...

This is from last season (two CPU teams made it to the title game, haaaa!)
http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4956877

So it is nothing new

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4936550
GLB had to forum banned one of the owner's (prob) after he went on a rant after losing to a CPU team in the playoffs

Think he quit and hasn't been back since then.

I have a theory about this. It is well documented that CPUs adjust their levels to the average level of other human players. This means that in a CPU vs Human game, CPU level means nothing. However, if there are no human players on either team, how would the teams adjust? I don't think they do.

Contrary to what some folks might say, CPU players do have levels. You can see them if you scout a team. Athabasca's CPUs average in the low 40s ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/scout_team.pl?team_id=1719 ) . Berlin (who they beat 255-0) averages in the teens ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/scout_team.pl?team_id=319 ). I think that is why the one CPU team destroyed the other.

I got you, level 42 CPU dots should be able to beat level 62-66 human dots.... sounds accurate to me

This at the very least. They should have left them where they were before all the crying started the last time about losing to them. As long as they are part of the game you should have to work to beat them IMO.

And this. Don't take them for granted.

This is correct. CPU players, based on my experience this season, adjust @ game time and "readjust" during the next game. I had this happen to my team when my roster dropped off and I reset. Someone sent a scrim over, my team restocked with OPL cpu dots, then the team was demoted to rookie. All of my current CPU dots required salaries that were higher than my entire bank balance. I had to cut and resign non-leveled cpu dots who could adjust during the first game.

Also: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=2917

It's picked up a few players here and there but pretty dominant for a CPU owned CPU team. Those who know or care spank the shit out of it but the last 2 games.....

Against the 62-66 humans, they are level 64 CPUs. However, they are based on builds that Catch decided were average. My guess is his idea of average > than what the average non-WL vet would consider average. Thus a CPU player > a poorly built human player and might even be > than what the average non-WL vet would build.

TBH, the solution to this is the same now as it was 8 seasons ago when I took a CPU only team to Regional Pro Finals. CPU players should not adjust their level based on the opponent's level....they should adjust to the SP value of their opponent. This would allow them to still be worse than crappy teams and be more competitive against very well built teams. However, alot of people think this is not an issue, and I personally don't give a shit, since I have never had a team that I cared about lose to a CPU team.

CPU teams or not......I still tag certain players because I don't want to take a chance and lose to CPU. Treating it like a real game and we have never lost to a CPU team.

On the other side of things, I can't tag for shit because it seems that the CPU AI uses everyone for everything. I do have a solid base AI to load though so it works out in the end.

No point in rolling new dots, if you can just get a CPU team and win.

Not to mention this elite CPU QB

QBR = 110.8 (70% comp. 16 TD, 1 int, 1,968 yards)
