However, they are based on builds that Catch decided were average. My guess is his idea of average > than what the average non-WL vet would consider average. Thus a CPU player > a poorly built human player and might even be > than what the average non-WL vet would build.
TBH, the solution to this is the same now as it was 8 seasons ago when I took a CPU only team to Regional Pro Finals. CPU players should not adjust their level based on the opponent's level....they should adjust to the SP value of their opponent. This would allow them to still be worse than crappy teams and be more competitive against very well built teams. However, alot of people think this is not an issue, and I personally don't give a shit, since I have never had a team that I cared about lose to a CPU team.
