so I beg the question again:
WHY are you testing AIs if you don't coordinate?
Could at least let your actual coordinators test stuff
it's a couple of things really
1. I work on being an OC out of paranoia, I have had OCs up and leave before because they quit the game so I keep a base AI around and make changes to it each season just in case.
2. There have been times in the past that my OCs aren't able to get to a computer, so I run scrims to test plays that I hear work good to see if my team can pull them off, I am also keeping my eye out for plays that get decent gains vs multiple teams, those high success plays I try and relay to my OC to keep in mind come playoff time
3. I like playing WL teams because it shows me that my team has a lot of work if we ever make it there (to be honest we probably won't but stranger things have happened)
4. I know my DC looks over these games and he uses what he sees to make tweaks to plays if he sees any glaring holes in his defense.
5. I do it because I am bored.
Why do you care so much about what I am doing anyway? Bottom line is I am enjoying myself and that's all that matters.
