Seriously, I sooooo do not feel like flipping recruting again.

Sigh.

If I had a few grand laying around I would just build my own danged teams.

Anyone want to recruit for me? I'll donate 100 Flex of your choice for every quality dot you get to sign with the Miracle!

I could fill the OTM roster with my own dots on other teams, its true. And its sorely tempting to do so.

But my builds are not all exactly perfect.

And while there are other issues (willingness etc) the other agent's dots on my other teams are not always any better, or even as good.

I would really profit by upgrading from the free agent market.

Needless to say, I am all ears. I have sent you a PM on one dot I believe. But any and all others are certainly welcome.

So do you run a network or do you just own a lot of teams? Typically priority 1 in a network is quality control. It should not be the case that you can find better dots on the FA market than you can on your roster. Just like the NFL has become, FAs are FAs for a reason. Occasionally you will get teams going a little young and letting good players with only 1 plateau season left go to free agency, but typically FAs become FAs because they were not good enough to stay on the former team. If that is the pool of players you are trying to cull for your roster/s then you have already lost the battle.

Ultimately it's your GLB experience so I guess you can make it whatever you want it to be. I owned 6 teams once upon a time and it is impossible to recruit a top notch roster for that many teams because chances are you just don't know that many people well enough to pull it off. So I looked at my GLB experience and asked myself, if I am going to be on here x amount of time, what do I want to spend it doing? Do I want to always be dabbling in this, that and the other, owning teams, recruiting for them like crazy, trying to get coordinators for them, posting like crazy in the forums? I did that and it was fun for a while, but I challenge you to find anyone who has really succeeded at a high level in this game via that route. So I retooled, consolidated my teams and then decided instead to take that x amount of time I am going to be on GLB and invest it in a few projects (teams, coordinating jobs, etc.) that mean the most to me and spend time getting better at coordinating, not just coordinating more teams. I have been very happy with my decision, but again you have to make it what you want it to be.

Long story, but used to just be my teams, now we have a network albeit a small one built from the users who signed with my various teams of late. We have a team of custom OT built dots, the Immortals, coming up but they are seasons off. Small group but active.

Till they come up, its more pick up FAs and the older dots of the guys who signed with me before.

As for coaching teams, I agree. If I did not have coordinators to run the other teams I could not keep up.

But the only team I fully run myself is the Miracle and this is the first season for even that since S17 or so.

And of course this was our worst season in a long time,

Thinking I should just hang it all up and go get a bagette to take up to the owners booth and watch.

I don't know that that would be a good idea. Better would be to just improve your abilities. The adage that if you want something done right you have to do it yourself is especially true on GLB.

you could always retire everyone, build 55 players, intense train speed and agility for 7 seasons, dump all SP into speed and agility for 7 seasons, run 100% of the time, and hope for the best....

This might be my next project.... I don't like money anyway!

and it might break the game

We have three teams in our network and I have a close affiliation with a fourth team. I already feel like I'm spread too thin.

We used to have six teams and consolidating helped a lot.

They're actually built on a lot of power including blocking WR's that can catch... and they're a little more balanced than I thinking.

True. Though Envy is cleaning house with the Grace this season, and my lower league coaches all made the playoffs as well.

I am not sure I have the time to figure out exactly what it is I am doing wrong.
