And ofc, that's how you validate an argument about LB VA's.

I have a higher SAT score than anybody in this thread. (or equal)

I still know nothing about appropriate blitz LB VAs.

No, JD, no it didn't. The study proved that at 74 vision the difference was extremely small with or without JTS. You are misrepresenting facts. They got off the snap in average at almost the same tick.

The data might be outdated, but as of the last time this was documented 15 in Jump the Snap with ~70 vision meant reacting 0.46 ticks faster, which was about the same amount as going from ~55 vision to ~70 vision. So yes, even at ~70 vision, adding 15 in Jump the Snap makes a very significant difference. If the dot has First Step then the earlier reaction means even more, since getting up to speed as quickly after the snap as possible obviously gives less time for the blockers to get in position.

(Posting on behalf of JD, but that was the last documented info I know of too, might be outdated though.)

The test also tested at 74 vision, which shows it reacting 0.3 ticks faster. If that is a "huge" difference, then I guess we'll just have to disagree on what is huge. I will not spend 15 VAs and a possible penalty just to go from 1.7 to 1.4. Others might. I however don't see how someone can claim such a difference to be huge.

However, it IS outdated as one of the changelog notes since then stated that the vision check would be harder to pass at the snap.

Don't worry. bolick misrepresents data and facts all the time in order to try and prove his argument.

I told you via PM that you need to go back and check that you're remembering things correctly because if you're talking about timthorn's data then you definitely are not. There was no .3 tick difference for any of them. The difference between 70+ vision with 0 JtS and 70+ vision with 15 JtS was 0.46 ticks faster on the latter. If you don't believe that's much, fair enough, but it's almost excatly the same difference that going from ~55 to 70 vision will get you. So if you don't care about that extra half tick and you're building a guy who only rushes the passer, then you might as well never take vision past the first cap.

Yo ... uhm ... that would make Jump the Snap more valuable now.

Don't troll this thread because you're pissed about me proving you wrong in other threads. I don't misrepresent data at all because I have no particular agenda, I just want to know more about the sim and then share any knowledge I find with everyone else.
