Mentone Beach Assault ( 3 - 1 ) vs. Caustic Personalities ( 2 - 2 )

This matchup highlights one of the newer WEPL teams versus one of the veteran aging teams. So far the Assault has only had one real game this season so this will be a real test to see if they measure up to their record.

I'll have to go with the Assault of course, but it will be a close game with a late TD for the win.

Portsmouth People Eaters ( 4 - 0 ) vs. San Antonio Heat ( 3 - 1 )

The Heat have not looked amazing so far this season and they get their first chance at one of the Elite teams to show they can make some noise in the playoffs, but so far they have been coming up short.

I'll take the People Eaters since last time I took the Heat they let me down.

Thanks jp! I used to like doing that as well, but since my work starting spying on our internet usage I just don't have time...maybe one day I'll find a way around it

My work blocks me too that's one of the main reasons my posting is down, but now I just put everything on Excel before I leave for work and work on it there. Downside is I screw up stuff since I can't look it up again

Golden Cow Misfits ( 5 - 0 ) vs. Gananda Muskrats ( 4 - 1 )

The Misfits have been around for a long time and have been a force in WEPL, but never a true Elite team. I'm sure they're hoping this is their season, but facing off with the Muskrats in one way to prove it.

I'll take the Muskrats since I know how tough they can be and the Misfits don't game plan anyway.

Red Hot Chile Peppers ( 6 - 0 ) vs. Regensburg Steel Rain ( 4 - 1 - 1 )

The Red Hot Chile Peppers came to WEPL to take the easy track back to the World League, but were robbed last season; although they mailed it then, they're hungry for another trophy. One of the top notch teams in WEPL and having no problem showing it so far they are getting matched up against the Steel Rain. This game could come down to a tie, but then again who ties in GLB?

I'll take RHCP to continue their win streak and mail in this season as they head back to the WL.

Austin Slackers ( 5 - 1 ) vs. Black Hand ( 5 - 1 )

The Slackers…well seem to be slacking. They play good teams close, but don't really blow out the subpar teams. This makes me believe their record doesn't really reflect how good they are. Now the Black Hand has always been a force to deal with and it will be interesting to see what happens with this matchup. Will the real Slackers please stand up!

I'll take the Black Hand to contniue their win streak and make their push for a home playoff game.

Regensburg Steel Rain ( 4 - 2 - 1 ) vs. Texas Militia ( 3 - 4 )

Not a matchup with one of the top teams in Alpha, but a huge game when the outcome for Texas could be huge. Currently Texas is a sub .500 teams that's had a lot of close games so far this season. They could easily have a better record if one or two things went their way; however, Texas hasn't really faced any serious competition either. This matchup against the Steel Rain should really show where they are and if they deserve a shot at the playoffs.

I'll take the Steel Rain as Texas really hasn't shown me much this season and may be a bit over their head.
