OK, with some lol-preseason results in, I might just have some fodder to work on my "entirely subjective and half not knowing what the hell I'm talking about" poll.

GG crafty CPU team. That 55 yards you managed passing was impressive.

Dang, Whitaker doubled that against us in the tourney. Kinda worried with how we could only win 54-3 againt them and Seattle just turned around and completely treated them like the CPU's they are. Not too sure with results like that our winning streak will go much beyond the current 21 game stretch.

BTW, GG Wilbury. We haven't been a very good first half team so far this season. You guys jumped on us and I was quite worried there for awhile. I think watching these games on PBP are going to take ten years off of my life sometimes.

Meat's Entirely Subjective and a bit more expanded because he waited until an actual regular season game simmed poll

Volume XVII

Here we go folks. We've got at least a smattering of regular season, ranked, and tournament games to go on. I'm still giving a little weight to the pre-season since the sample size is so low, but as always this poll is for discussion purposes and to keep us all interested. All complaints can be forwarded to the line of people that want to Beat my Meat. (Seriously should talk my buddy snake into naming his team "Off Constantly", but that's another subject for another time.)

Anyway, here's my top ten(regular season record listed first, overall record including all tourney, ranked scrims, and public scrims in parenthesis)................

1. Montenegro 1-0 (8-0) LW#1 - You know guys, as the writer of this entirely biased and self-centered piece, I've been trying hard to find a reason to keep my Meatheads from being number 1. But they kind of have the slot that HRR earned through most of last season's poll. They simply haven't been beaten in a while. That counts scrims, tourney games, and their current 21 game winning streak. Plenty of opportunities exist on this level though, and with games against Taus, Cincinatti, and TVV on the immediate headline. They could be looking at losses soon enough.

2. Alabama 1-0 (7-0) LW#3 - Voted "most likely to be Meat-beaters", these guys have got a quite impressive run of their own going; having won every game of consequence they have played against equal leveled opponents since March 12. Good, solid win over the Merkins to start the season. They have a REALLY tough four game stretch coming up and if they survive that without a loss, it will be hard to keep them from being atop the poll.

3. Heartbreak Ridge 1-0 (5-1) LW#2 - HRR has been quiet thus far this season, putting in some workman-like games against good competition in the pre-season. Their only slip thus far is a lol-preseason miss at Meat-beating. They have the Green Hornets and Alabam coming up on the schedule so they will have their opportunity to make a statement very soon.

4. Granwinsnell 1-0 (5-1) LW#4 - The PolarKats have been putting up some impressive defensive numbers, with their onlt slip a dogfight loss to the Meat in the lol-preseason. These guys will be right there and tough games against the Legion and TVV are on the immediate forefront.

5. The Legion's Chocolate Blaze 1-0 (5-0) LW UR - An undefeated pre-season with a quality score in their against the Danish Disasters. They have a chance to keep rising with upcoming games against the Merkins and Granwinsnell. These guys have a backloaded schedule but could be the team to chase in the Beastly East if they get past the PolarKats early.

6. The Green Hornets 1-0 (9-2) LW #10 - Has anyone noticed a pattern yet? The East is going to be very, VERY tough this season and proof of that is knowing that a quality team like the Hornets will have to claw tooth and nail to assure themselves of a playoff spot, much less contend for home field. A couple of setbacks in the pre-season but they do have some quality wins there as well and are capable of beating anyone on their schedule.

7. Texas Taus of the BOLN 1-0 (8-2) LW #5 - This team is known to be capable of beating anyone and are right there in the discussion to see who can usurp the Meat atop the West. They are more than capable. A curious pre-season result against the PolarKats aside; they have been putting up the wins to back their ranking thus far. It's not as crowded atop the West and these guys are more than capable of winning that division. An early date with the Meat awaits in game #4.

8. Danish Disasters 1-0 (8-2) LW UR - Some decent wins couple with a couple of pre-season losses to some top ten teams have these guys sitting squarely in the second five. A lot of their tougher games are on down the road so these guys could certainly make some early noise and turn into the team to be chased in the West. Parris Island will provide an early test.

9. Tennessee Tuxedos 1-0 (6-1) LW UR
- It's going to be tough for these guys in the East, but they are a capable team that will not be an easy out for anyone. Aside from a good close win against Cincy, untested right now. That should change by the end of game six when they have games against about half of the current top ten under their belt.

10. TVV 1-0 (20-5) LW UR - These guys already seem to have the title for most scrims on the season wrapped up (Where you at Taus?) They are winning most of their games but have lost to some good teams and have yet to really put a signature win up there. A good chance coming up against the Meat and in-division with the Polarkats could see these guys climb up the rankings.

Next five (in no order)

Skyrim 1-0 (4-1)
Parris Island 1-0 (4-7)
Cincinatti 0-1 (4-5)
Wilbury 0-1 (3-3)
Free Dots 0-1 (3-3)

Thanks, Snickerling. Unfortunately our O won't be giving anyone fits this year, two shutouts thus far. We won''t win any games in this league, with the type of talent that is present, not being able to move the ball. Oh well, good luck the rest of the season TT.

Our offense hasn't been too hot either. I'd like to think that this can be attrbiuted to some really great defensive play. But the numbers bear out that passing is simply way down accross the board.

Also, the Alabama and DD games I certainly didn't see coming. I think Alabama may of sufferrred from my dreaded #2 hole curse. Aside from my Meat, I don't think I've ever had a team sit at #2 in my polls without losing a game immediately thereafter.

Sorry Tide, that was probably my bad....
