Just wondering what makes it the best?

Is it the Biggest?
Does the group have more championships than the other coalitions?
do the Agents have more trophies than the agents in other groups?

I am just wondering how your statement can be proven as fact instead of just some random opinion.

i think he means it is the best as far as agents go. and his opinion it may be the best. dont really need proof for an opinion.

Actually any statement that is made in a open forum is in fact subject to discussion. and in that aspect even though it is a opinion it can be asked to be proven. alot of people read these threads and I think it would serve everyone to actually prove or disprove certain statements.

I am not trying to be a A-hole here. I just think if someone makes a statement that they should actually not mind discussing that statement and try to provide proof in what they are saying.

Well we may not be one of the top GLB networks, we may not have many trophies in general. What we do have is a very active forum, we have given away over 60,000 flex points in rewards to network agents thus far. We try to put competitive teams on the field and i think so far we have done that, but our main goal is to have fun while doing it, and i think we do that.

A lot of people including myself were on the verge of saying goodbye to GLB due to all the changes by bort. This game is not what it used to be and we all know that, and with the economy they way it is it makes it even tougher for agents to spend $ on flex thats one reason we have Flex rewards. hell we have one agents who has one 20,000 flex so far, and we have 2 more flex rewards going on right now.

We just try to make GLB fun again. Thats the best i can do for you man.

you have a good point.

and I am a new member to hardcore.

my experience is first, the agents are welcoming. the first day I joined the network I made an introduction and most of them interacted with me through my post and conversations went back and forth.

another is hardcore is very helpful. I am now learning on how to coordinate defense. hardcore coached me on how to go about doing it from scratch. I learned from other agents also but I was encouraged by hardcore to pursue this (and this is the when the AI and creating plays looked jibberish to me). now this is my first season as DC and I don't have any trophies yet but when I do it will also be because of hardcore among others.

and I have been with GLB for so long now i think I went inactive for over a year and that was because I did not give a crap about GLB yet. I was playing the game on my own. I did not know how to build players and I got frustrated so I said "forget this" but when I tried to open my account a couple of months ago to start a new I asked other agents to help me out and hardcore was the first to take me in and they gave me a chance to be a part of something here in GLB.

Now it was not just hardcore that took me in, other networks were also very helpful as well and it took me a couple of weeks to decide where my loyalty will be. at the end it came down to 2 networks It was very hard for me to make my decision because both were awesome however the reason why hardcore is that because everyone pitched in to help me out. it wasn't just one or 2 agents but it was hardcore as a whole that was helping me out and giving me a chance to be a part of something. the agents were very active in ideas, issues and concerns everyone will contribute their 2 cents to every story.

Now I can even help others that is because hardcore helped me first.

So this is my opinion.. I am a rookie hardcore member and for me "HARDCORE" is the best network in GLB and I am glad to be a part of it.

feel free to prove or disprove...

actually there is no way to prove or disprove I was playing around with the guy that made the statement that I commented on. It is good that you guys have a good or great coalition. and as you stated there are more than just 1 coalition in the game and everyone of those coalitions have Pro's and Con's associated with them. the job of any potential member is to try to find out as much info as they can on the different coalitions and make a educated judgement on where they want to put their alliances with.

I even tried to put together a list of all the different coalitions a couple seasons ago and make a directory of sorts of the coalitions. and each coalition would have had a page in the directory explaining what the group was about. and how that group could help new members as well as what was expected from a new member coming into the group. but the suggestion was met with little following and was deemed unnecessary due to people being able to post their group on the wiki links.

congrats to you guys for trying to make the game more fun for the people in your group. I like the idea of having flex give aways but that could become a tricky slope in the future. but that is something that would help a few people for sure. I also liked the radio show idea that the Addicts do. and I am sure there are alot of other things other coalitions do to set themselves apart from all other coalitions.

anyway best of luck to you guys and I look forward to facing you guys teams on the Dotball field. I always welcome good competitive games for sure. and do not mind losing to teams that are better or that can out coordinate my teams.

i do like the ideal of a coalition directory. And as far as the flex point giveaways go, i am the only one who gives them away i do 2-3 give aways every season ranging from 5-15 K per award. Just something to help agents with flex and also keep it interesting, fun and active.

the flex point giveaway is a good thing I am not saying it isn't. I am just saying by doing that you are opening yourself up to some possible problems down the road. some agents may take offense that they do not win or they try to cause static over someone else winning. all I am saying is be careful doing that because it could eventually turn into a headache for you. but other than that I commend you for doing that.
