I know, I know, you can barely contain your joy. I mean, if it weren't for reading posts authored by me, your lives would be just a meaningless existence interrupted only by meals and sleep...
...so without further ado...
1. FFLW--Surprised me too, I had figured going in Brantford was the team to beat...but by formula FFLW came out ahead.
2. Brantford--You get what you pay for...
3. Newcastle--Despite being 7-0 Newcastle lacks any quality wins (by definition a quality win is a win by 8 or more points against a team that has a .550 or better winning percentage).
4. FFLivewire--The other FFLW team, and best of the one loss teams.
5. Fiji--The sea turtles have come a long way in the past season and a half, and should now be considered one of the top teams in Oceania Pro.
6. Rawle Tech--Continually underrated, Rawle Tech is one of Oceania Pro's elites.
7. West Scranton--Newcomers prove they belong, coming out the gate strong.
8. Brisbane (G)--Inflated early schedule may make for a rough go of it down the stretch...
9. Canberra--Defending Oceania Pro Champs have two early slips...
10 (tie). Emerald City/New England--Came out in a statistical dead even tie for tenth.
Interesting note: Las Vegas, who currently sits at 6-1 came out 16th in the rankings, thanks to a ridiculously soft early schedule. Their first seven opponents are a combined 10-39 (.204 winning percentage).
Expect a late season fall for them much like I predicted last year for Carabao and Aukland (which of course came to pass...).
