I'm the kid that sneaks in his parents closet 2 weeks before christmas to try and see what he got
I log in and look to see if team won or loss immediately , I watch the replays knowing the score and like it that way.
However, I can totally understand how others would like it the other ways as listed here, and would have no issue taking additional steps to see the final score.

duh, this suggestion has been around for YEARS now.
There used to be a script for it, but I stopped using scripts.
