13 teams under 40 players. ugh.

I've a stock pile of my own players to fill in the blanks so that's one less team under 40 players

Yep here you go.

It's not by the original author (pabst) but seems to just have added formatting.

PVR here. Starting to see the production from the slow - slow - slow building. Seems like it takes forever to see actual good results.

Hopefully, I can start gameplanning to win games rather than to just get experience.

Good deal on teams filling up. And even better on teams trying.

GLB does a horrible job of balancing conferences. I have a team in USAPRO and we were 6-10 but we beat one of the playoff teams in the other conference and would surely have been in the playoffs. The other conference had maybe two or three good teams, whereas ours had 8 that were amazing. I don't know what script they use, but it isn't good. This league also has one really good conference and another not so good.

No truer words have ever been spoken. There is ALWAYS one outstanding conference and one ... well ... not so good one. It has been a foregone conclusion who was going to end up winning the chip in every league I've been in. The script just looks at the record, it seems, and decides that since you did well in a predominately bad conference (no disrespect to anyone here who was in my conf last season, but you know half of it sucked balls) that moving up is the next logical choice.

Then it takes a group of weaker teams and lumps them all in against an obvious group of stronger teams. After 5-6 games, I can almost guarantee most of us will already know who is going to win this league. And there's nothing any of us can do about it because they seem to be under the impression that the shit works. I'm really beginning to think that the guys who wrote the script don't actually pay attention to much of anything that goes on within the game itself.

NOTE: For those of you who will just look at this as a non-boost team whining, look at every league in this division halfway through the season and tell me you can't see who fits the following criteria:

1. Strongest/Weakest Conference
2. Teams that shouldn't have even been in the numbered league they are in
3. Who will be the obvious winner of the chip.

Someone needs to scrap the script and start from scratch. (but first you have to be able to say it five times fast)

But, I've decided to whine a bit anyway....

I should be in University #6 along with what looks like a ton of other non-boosting teams. But since 7 of my games came against either CPU teams or teams who barely fielded an entire team, I'm here against a bunch of teams who will likely out-level me by 10 before the season even starts. Someone from support had the audacity to tell me that I couldn't ascertain that I would get my ass kicked in this league far more often than not before the season started.

Meanwhile, there are a couple teams in Uni#6 who will have the obvious advantage of a bad record in one of the lopsided strong conferences and will cruise against most of the competition in that league. They are making it so that I should have just tried to throw all the games I played last season so this season would make some semblance of sense instead of correcting the errors in whatever formula they use to put these conferences together.

But, since I'm not one to lay down, I fully expect to be raped standing up this season. I will game plan in vain and hope to pull off a shocker or two.

Well, don't think there is an obvious winner here. The arranging is better than it used to be, still not great though. Non boosters know it's not all about levels. They've had more time to train, and at this point should be more rounded out. I think we are right where we should be. Also think they did a pretty good job on Elite 1 and 2.

Have to disagree with you about non-boosters a bit there. It's been pretty well proven that raw numbers beat out training since the switch that stopped people from doing super slow builds. Of course, the way people build and team coordination have their place as well, but a non boost team is not going to beat a lot of teams once the level disparity becomes 8-10+.

Boosted players have better main attributes while non-boosted players get a slight bump in the minor attributes. In the end, boosted players win out over non-boosted players if both players are built correctly.

Our ULU team Justice League made the playoffs last season in this age group. Roughly 10 lvl difference. It can be done. SP value means more than the lvl or effective lvl.

No offense, but in the Zeta we only have 3 teams that have a serious chance: Gravenhurst, Bloodweiser, and Coiba. Monkeys only have 40 players and don't appear to be trying to recruit more. Tonga could join this group but they still need to secure 9 more players. And the top 4 teams are all from the Alpha conference. Two of those teams should be in Zeta to make the conferences more fair.
