I've never understood why people love to hate the Addicts. It's just a group of guys in a forum. They aren't a "network" at all like the hood network or blaze network, etc. That are full of feeder teams that all contribute to a small group of top teams, its just a group of teams that operate on their own agendas to have fun.

They don't troll, and I've never seen them claim to be the best at the game. So why all the hate?

Because Madcow, dpride, and jd really do love us- it gives them something to talk about. Apparently MadCow thinks we are even bigger than we actually are- I'm not sure there are 3000 active agents anymore, let alone 3000 Addicts.

Many also misunderstand the Official Addict Team system- basically any Addict-owned team is a basic Official Addict team: means you can recruit in the forum; nothing more. Whether they take advantage of that or not is up to them, but we do like those who take to give back to someone else in the Addicts as well.

The teams that consistently rep us are the Addict Franchise Teams, which usually include the couple primary "teams" with Addicts somewhere in their names, one from each Subfamily, and a few others who consistently rep the Addicts. Check the team note on HOOD is you are confused as to which they are.

Lem- You have an excellent squad assembled and I'm proud to have you repping us up top!

JT- You are a beast. One of the best coords in the game. Glad to have you on our side.

You were horrible at the game and full of asshole posters, but somehow went out of your way to talk bad about and look down on other assholes who weren't part of your network. It's like the clique of nerds and rejects banding together in high school and pretending that they're the jocks, then plastering their bullshit all over the halls. You are impressively oblivious. There are groups on GLB who never run afoul of anyone because they don't act like their shit doesn't stink, and they don't behave like complete hypocrites by criticizing behavior that many of their members engage in. But what really obliterated the Addicts' credibility once and for all is when you guys decided to keep a known, proven cheater. You sided with him because he was one of your own, and you care more about the group than having any sort of standards. People who tolerate cheaters are almost as bad as the cheaters themselves. So look at who your members are, then you should understand. Hell, look at the membership and then wonder why anyone else would want to be a part of that.

and well yea I was on the forum for a little bit, it was the only place to keep up with the radio stuff, which i liked calling into. but then it stopped and i quit. see how that works.


The fact that you make people earn their way into a group of shitty posters and shitty teams is amazing to me. Like it actually means anything to be an addict. I really do hate all addicts, which is why i dont join their teams...
