Would you be 279 days old or 280 days old in season 8 day zero?

If you agree with my math here, http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=4674179&page=63#42895347, then boost from 1 to 4 gets you to exactly 78 at d279 vs 77.2 if you don't boost 1 to 4.

Thus, when you boost at d281, you end up capped at lvl 79 either way. Therefore, why would one boost from lvl 1 to 4? It's a waste of flex. Or have I made a mistake?

I think you'll lose some xp along the way as you'll be hitting points where the xp drops before the end of the season at times.

If you can boost 3 times on season 8 day zero whether you're 279 or 280 days old, and you're at 78 then, you will be level 81. You wouldn't be able to use the plateau boosts then though since they are limited to boosting to level 79. Or, will the normal boosting be capped at level 79?

So there's no need to boost from lvl 1-4 since you'll reach lvl 79 anyway right?

or would you only have to boost once to reach lvl 79?

Can it be clarified. If you start a player say d41 of this season.

a) Don't boost him before the new season. Boost him 3x s1-s7. And then 3x after s7 (e.g. when s8 starts) ... that is all the boosts you get and will probably reach level 77.

b) Boost him 3x before the new season. Boost him 3x s1-s7. And then 3x after s7 (e.g. when s8 starts) ... that is all the boosts you get and will probably reach level 78.

I don't see this affecting a whole ton of folks, but this seems backwards to me?

If I have 400 XP right now, I could trade that for 16 TPs which would be reduced to 10 during conversion.

If I save the XP, it will become 500 XP which I could then trade for 14 TPs + bonus for leftovers so likely 16 (of the new, more valuable TPs)?

It's really not a big enough deal to worry about, maybe let the few folks with extra XP just have the bonus

On the other hand, what if someone has 900 XP, do they end up with 1125XP or does that level them up?

Yea, good point, especially on the 1125 XP issue. Guess we'll just let them have the bonus.

Damn you, taut! When my currently 412d old dot finishes at level 76.996 I am going to blame you

You'll enter season 8 at 280 days old. Plateau when you're 281, so it sounds to me like you'll be able to boost up to 6 times (or until you reach 79) in S8.

Question on auto-training, and sorry if this has been answered:

Currently, you can set auto-train to end at a certain BT amount. There are two issues:

1) I assume basically all my auto training will complete once my BTs are doubled since they will then be beyond that threshold. This is fine, I just want to make sure nothing gets screwed up in the auto-train system.

2) More importantly, can we get the cap limit raised past 100 for the auto-trainer? Preferably to something like 1000 (not 200, the 100 cap was too small to begin with).

Season 8-12 (393-672 days, player age 281-480):

No game or training XP. Player enters extended plateau

Additions to game

#1 - Allow for up to 3 boosts (no limitations) once a player enters plateau

I am reading this as once s7 is over, you are in plateau ... and get 3 more (total) boosts to use.

You boost 3 times in the preseason and 3 more after day 1 when you enter plateau.

If you are correct, then I guess you can boost more than 3 times after season 7 is finished? idk. looking for clarification?
