It looks like he mightve just wante to use an emoticon. But you remind me of my team last year too. Resurrected mid-season as I picked em up from CPU.

When I got this team two weeks ago, I assumed that we would get our butts handed to us since we came late to the party, but I was pleasantly surprised at the number of players that were still on cpu teams that were looking to move to a human-owned team. We have still gotten our butts handed to us a few times (as we may tomorrow against the Jayhawks), but it has been better than we expected.

Full Rankings for Eastern Conference after Week 8

1) Hell N' Blazes (8-0)--- These guys are definitely the best team in this conference. Depth is their ony possible problem but I think it's one they'll overcome.

2) New Orleans Night Trippers (8-0)--- I thought that I'd be able to take these guys, but I couldn't. I even threw in a huge promotion for this game but still lost by 30. Night Trippers are Blazes' only challenge left.

3) Pittsburgh Steel City Champions (7-1)--- I'm not a full believer in these guys just yet. They'll have challenges in the second half of the season against the Flames, Cowboys, Blackshirts, and Night Trippers.

4) Honduras Flames (6-2)--- The two losses for the Flames have come against the conference's two undefeated teams. The Blizzard win was impressive but the Flames will see where they stand after they face the Cowboys, Blackshirts, and Pittsburgh.

5) Brokeback Cowboys (6-2)--- Like the Flames, the only two Cowboys losses have come against the Blazes and Night Trippers. The Cowboys still have a good chance at home-field advantage in the play-offs' first round.

6) Roman Empire Blackshirts (5-3)--- The Blackshirts have been unfortunate to face the Ex-Wife Carriers, Blazes, and Night Trippers. These guys still have an outside chance at home-field. A team to be reckoned with.

7) Antarctica Blizzard (3-5)--- Despite the losing record, I still see these guys making the play-offs. They faced tough teams early on but show encouragement that they will finish strong.

8) Prison Yard Mean Machine (5-3)--- This goes to show how strong this conference is that these guys could end up being the 8th seed. They actually surprised me when I played them. They are a team to be taken more seriously than I thought.

9) Cybertron Transformers (4-4)--- I saw these guys and the Pillow Pets neck and neck but the Transformers won this week so they get the nod here. These guys have the potential to surprise a team.

10) Pillow Pets (4-4)--- The Pillow Pets face a pretty strong second half schedule. I think it's fair to say that they'll reach .500 at the very best.

11) Buffalo Sackboys (3-5)--- It's hard to see what these guys will have since the team was just bought not to long ago. Games against the Pillow Pets and Transformers will show just how strong this team can be.

12) DC Men At Rms (2-6)--- These guys have a full roster and the potential to win games but I don't see them making any type of impact on the conference. They show effort though which means they could be a team to watch in the future.

13) Eugene Hornets (2-6)--- Although the Hornets have been resectable so far, I'm not sure if they'll win a game from this point on. They need an owner to do better.

14) Dewey, Cheetham, and Howe (1-7)--- They won a game!! Other than that the positives really aren't there. This would be a team to choose against in the Survivor Game.

15) Dimmsdale Wildcats (1-7)---At least they have a go-to player in J Rocket but you look forward to playing these guys.

16) Banbury Bangers (1-7)---Banbury has already won all the games that it will win this year.

Expect another post after Week 12

In my opinion, Pittsburgh is ranked too high: I rank them at #5. I also think that Cowboys are slightly better than Flames.

No doubt about #1: Hell N' Blazes are by far the best team in the conference(GG by the way).

I agree with you but until they lose again they stay there for me.

Haha. We'll see how my game against them goes. I have a feeling that I'm going to need to bring out the promo again. The Cowboys barely beat the Blizzard so that's encouraging.

GG to you also

I think our depth issue will kill us in the playoffs
