Well when you are setting up ST's and needing specific archtypes in certain positions then the icon would certainly help. It has 0 to do with laziness. There are 2304 votes for it so apparently it's something people want.

I would like to hear your 100 reasons though because i bet you don't have 100. Maybe you should make suggestions on how to fix the sim and start your own thread. Removing the beta tag, all that means is there will be no more major changes to the game.
