Warlocks will be back. Going to keep team largely in tact and try to upgrade in several key areas. Some of you guys should be in another league--you're too good for us!

The Mancave All-Stars are probably going to start fresh with a new roster, so who else is going to be here next season?
I would like to be competitive, and we didn't house a team in order to that much better. That is the honest truth, we didn't have a team filled until the preseason. I didn't think I was going to keep the team, and then we needed a home for some players that didn't have one. We put it together, and have played well, but largely, we were lucky in getting the players we did. The Stallions played us very well today, and surprised that the League is littered with so many half teams. I didn't look at the League before we signed them, just paid attention to the Day Old thing. It is fun, but at the same time, you want to compete. -Naka

Same here with us. I think the new age based league shuffled things in a strange way and 3 or 4 teams are way above the rest. Not a knock on the other teams, just saying the free agent pool was thin and a few teams were able to capture some talent. I just bought the Shamrocks in the middle of last season and the one agent that was left on the team said it was bought and sold 3 different times before I came along. Hopefully GLB gets it together next year and spreads the talent evenly.

Yeah, we in no way did anything to be much better. To be honest, I didn't know what we had, I extended an offer to friends that if they couldn't find a home, that they could come and play here for Max PT, and Max XP if needed. That is why we have gotten stronger, last season we didn't have but 3 CB's, no S's, and alot of holes. This season, alot of the people from last season re-signed, liked the experience, and came back. I want to say that we were 7-9 last season, and no way did we think that we would be where we are at. I look forward to the playoffs for sure, and honestly, I would just say for everyone to not quit because of this season, go out and sell the experience. Your build means alot more here then in AI leagues. -Naka
I have to agree 100% with Naka. It is the build that really makes the difference. In the AI driven leagues we can hide players that aren't good enough or lack specific skill sets. Here in the casual, we can't cover up any weaknesses with fancy AI plays or cover schemes. Its straight up builds vs builds and in my opinion the LOLbars don't tell the whole story either.
If there is a weakness at 1 position it will be exploited and make the entire team look weak. Don't give up and move back down because of this season. I did that once and never made it back with that team. There are so many new rungs in the ladder to start from the beginning again.
This age based system gives too wide a range of experience in the same league. Don't think it is fair that Lvl 65 players are playing against Lvl 45-50 guys just because they are in the same age group. We were one of the better teams, but got spanked by teams that had higher level talent.

Definitely need a non-boosting league that is sponsored by GLB. That is the problem in a shell right there. Also, if they are never going to make the Iron Man League, then there should be a Non-Boosting league which would be the closest thing to the Iron Man League. -Naka
