Secondary sort was supposed to be effective level with the lower effective levels at this age group being in the "normal" leagues (i.e. 3 & 4). There are a handful of teams in competitive #2 better than the bottom of elite. You definitely should not be in elite with that roster. As a competitor no offense but I'd rather be facing better teams.

wow just noticed there is not a separate forum for leagues 1, 2, 3, & 4, just this main forum for all 200 day old leagues.

I'm trying for you pooh, and for us. As much as you should be in a league with similar teams, We shouldn't have to have 255-0 games in an Elite league when there are qualified teams in competitive and normal that could take your place here.

What about a direct swap? I have heard of others doing this in the past. Maybe if you could find a team in league# 3 that wants to be in Elite, they could just swap you 2? It doesn't fix the overall problem, but it would solve yours

This happened last season. They shift some teams here and there over the next few days, and yeah, they definitely try to "elite" the Elite leagues. Last season we started with a "balanced" conference, but ended up with 4 league champs and 6 or 7 league finalist or semi finalists, so yeah, give it a couple days (especially this season with the age change).

I can't speak for 8isgreat, but it would make much more sense for his Alpine Strippers to be here than Port Gardner. They lost in the Conf. championship of our league last year, and were a top 4 team all season, for sure.

Port Gardiner didn't make it out of the first round, no offense. How the hell did they end up in here instead of Alpine?

can't promise anything because we've never changed or re-done team sorts in the past, but I will at least ask Bort when I speak with him next to evaluate/consider the possibility of doing a second sort or redoing using a different criteria. They are currently reviewing the leagues and Catch does see justification for more sorting, so he'll talk to the rest of the Admins about to see if they can all get on board for another adjustment.

If an extra 3-5 days of offseason time spent figuring this out will help to make sure that competition is better throughout the next season, that is the decision they have to make.
