Definitely needed. As long as the Dot Builder has the choice, what's the harm? Shit, I'd take it a step further and let OC/DC/Owner adjust my tactics, so long as a choose for them do so.

even if you say the agent has to adjust his own player's tactics as that's the only thing I player really has control over in a game, the OC/DC should be able to see the player's tactics on the roster so he can check where everyone is set without having to ask each agent on the team every time. this is really a no-brainer, and definitely worth putting up for a vote.

Indeed. Thanks for the support!

Well, that's where I'd drawn the line, actually, and so would most other agents based on what I've seen in other Suggestions threads. I don't want anyone else to actually control my dots.
That's why I was very careful to frame my Suggestion the way I did. The agent should always be in control, both over the tactics themselves and whether or not anyone else is allowed to see what their tactics are set to. But right now agents don't have any control on the second point: the answer is automatically "no" -- even if we want the answer to be "yes."

The latter statement is a bit controversial, since many imply that owners would "require it to be open" or something rather. It's best to keep it as viewable if the dot-builder allows it. Most people are generally okay with that.

Lots of owners "require" builds to be open too. Nobody complains about that... they just sign their dots with an owner who doesn't have that requirement.
I know you're not making this argument; you're just repeating an objection that you've seen other people make. I've seen it too. And it drives me crazy. It doesn't make sense to me that owners being able to see builds is okay, but owners being able to see tactics is going to destroy the game.
By the way, has anyone actually seen a "My owner benched me because I won't open my build!" thread anywhere recently? Any at all? No? I didn't think so. So I seriously doubt we'll see a sudden outbreak of players getting benched because they won't open their tactics either. It's a phantom problem.
