do his SA's need to be over 10? I've always heard that 11+ was just a waste and that 10 is the ideal target.

that build btw looks incredible. really nice.

Right, because all of you who think you're so great at building corners, tell people they need Str, and Tackling. And they don't.

strength does go into the PD roll when both the CB and WR are able to interact with the ball at the same time; bort has said so himself. as for tackling, you do need it. just in USPL my CB with soft capped tackling and 52 strength had 16 missed tackles. now that builds are better, and broken tackles will happen more because of it, you do need probably more than just soft capped tackling. i wouldnt go all out on tackling, but i would aim for mid 50s. i know some builders aim for more or less (i know jrry and sunshineman probably go for less), and thats okay. a good build is still a good build, even if it isnt quite as rounded out as some other builders would like. but fwiw, i dont think 70 agility has ever really been enough for an end build number, even with CD.

Great base build, but needs % pieces. Also, does he really have 84 base jumping?

What if he did? Would you insult his build? Why are you even questioning that? That's pretty awesome.

yeah, i personally dont plan on taking an attribute over 10 w/ EQ unless it is penalized, in which case, i will push it to 13 (w/ EQ of course), so that it winds up ~10.

in fact, i actually usually only go to 8 on most of the builds i run through the builder. i dont like spending 5 SP for 1 point in an SA, and since 8 is pretty respectable, and when your throw in CEQ, it winds up at 9. thats goof enough for me.

sorry guys, I pretty much just made up some numbers - but it should have been 127 speed imo

hope this isn't going to get me banned

"str goes into the PD roll" I was the one telling you this in season 7 and 8. You and longhorns were denying it.

tbh, i dont ever recall saying it didnt. i maybe said i didnt know, but ive always kind of liked strength. in madden for example, i always love having at least 1 CB that can knock the crap out of people and at least 1 CB that has 75+ catching so he can pick off the ball like its nobodies business... now inb4GLB /=madden, but that was the mindset i had when i started playing, and it really hasnt changed much. i still like strength on CBs (like i did back then, so im not sure where youre getting that. the big arguments i recall from way back in the day were in regards to speed/agility splits)

and question... if you were saying it back then, why are you suddenly saying they dont, when they now need more strength than they ever did in the past?

Because corners need 900 speed now, and that doesn't leave room for str and tackling.

i think its more along the lines of 125-145 (depending on the kind of corner you want), but i see your point, haha. but ALGs are quite a bit better now which allows for much higher speed than we are used to, and because of this, you can still easily get strength and tackling to levels that are acceptable even without taking into account the ridiculous speed WRs we will be seeing. will 145 speed CBs miss tackles... im sure they will quite a bit on pitches and runs that wind up bouncing outside, but to have no tackling or strength at all is just asking to be killed in the outside running game. i havent run anything through the builder as of late in regards to 145 speed CBs, but im sure they can get 50/50 str/tkl without sacrificing anything else in the build.

If you mean talks about how good my dots are, sure.

So you gave me shit for asking about his jumping and it turns out I was correct. The whole build was made up, and I'm the only one in the thread who thought something was fishy. Eat my shit.

Now you're just making shit up. Just like you used to say CBs need 90 agility. You've been proven wrong on everything you used to say and now you're just making shit up so that you can seem right. You really are the worst troll ever. Please go take some lessons from ITS or Gart and come back when you've earned a passing grade.

Really I said 90 Agility? I Can open up all my corner builds and you will see not a single on of them was even approaching 90 agility fool. Back then I said I was going to finish 140/70, and you were like NO you suck 100/100 is better and blah blah.... And people talk about you in a bad way, not in a good way. Your dots suck, and I feel sorry for the guys getting advice from you in that forum you run.

Dumbass. The smiley denotes that I was being sarcastic. In the past you always argued for 70 agility, but in a recent thread you said that you always used to argue for 90. That claim was bullshit just like you claiming to have argued for strength as part of the PD roll is bullshit. And which people talk about me in a bad way? Considering how much interest I get any time I FA a dot, I'm going to assume it's someone who doesn't know shit or that you are just making up shit.
