Just my opinion here, not trying to be elitist. I think you have a bit of the "Can't see the forest for the trees" going on here. Most people are agreeing with you, including me and I'm a member of two networks. Shit, even Avenger is talking himself into agreeing with you. Like I said before, I'd be more than happy to help you recruit next season if you need it. If you'd like I can bring you in to my Network and show you that we are not all the devil, though Avenger is in there so... .

There is just a tone here that rubs me the wrong way. And I have never said that I think CPU's should be above average but some are perceiving that. But they should be serviceable.

Well considering that my human players have a 87 point higher effective level than them, yes I say it is close to working as intended.

So I should cut 11 of my average players that will raise my effective level to yours or better and replace them with CPU players.... That is absolute horse shit.....

The effective level does not include CPU players, if you would run the script you would see that.

exactly my point.... If i drop my sub average players my effective level will go up and I can sign CPU players to improve my team... that is garbage

These 2 builds were pancaked for a combined 55 times in one single game against your CPU Oline > http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=448523 , http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=116229

This was the game before the Fuggers > http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=1282731

I would bet all the donuts in North America those 2 builds are "below" average to allow CPU's man handle them like they did.

I show you a 130 strength, 100 blocking, 70 conf, 70 vision Guard that wouldn't own builds like that DT and DE ever have that kind of success.

I just think Catch needs to add his 2 cents at this point. Its a clearly an overpowering CPU issue, and i 1000% believe there is absolutely ZERO incentive to recruit hard for Oline, Dline any more. Hell maybe CPU LB's are still awesome. That game you lost, none of your CPULB's were pancaked at ALL, but ALL the human LB's were destoyed.

Oh... and for the record... I signed 7 CPU players to my roster on day 0 to bring my roster count to 55. I intended on using them as STOPs, but then I realized that A) I felt a little dirty for doing it and B) CPU dots still suck at STs regardless of the buff. They never sniffed the depth chart and I released them all on day 1.

Snick, my friend let me ask you, if you had a team in the NFL Then they said, were going to change the rules for the CB's and let them go back to the bump and run rule where they can pretty much mug the WR's as long as the ball isn't in the Air. Would you adapt to that rule change or would it make you feel "dirty"?? (I honestly am not trying to sound anything like a smart-ass here, but am just trying to make a point!) GLB changed the rules. We all play this game within the rules. Nothing "dirty" about that. If tGLB says I can line one guy in the oppositions backfield, I may not think it is a good rule, but I still am going to do it!

BUT I do agree, that there is no way, the CPU players should be better than a "decently"/average built player. I see nothing wrong with them being the same as an average player. A few average players to fill in some recruiting holes can keep a team with a bunch of superior players competitive! But a team of average players could never do more than win a few games!
