Catch I am a little confused on the Overage Bank account. I saw you post one thing earlier and something different later.
If I want to get a Private Jet and it costs $10,080,000. Will it pull $50,400,000 from my overage account? Or will it only pull $25,200,000 ($5,040,000 X 5) from the overage account and then $5,040,000 from my regular team funds.

Here is one thing that you said
Catch 22 - Overage account first. If you don't have enough money from the overage account it will pull remainder from team cash. Example:
Team has 20 million in overage account and wishes to purchase a transportation item that costs 6 million. The most this team could spend on a transportation item is 4 million (20 million * 20 percent). This would apply towards the item and there would be a balance of 2 million deducted from team cash.
I'm going to clarify with Bort that this is how it works but I believe this is correct.

Ok, since nobody else has answered it... I will ask once more.
What is the point of having cash as incentives to sign contracts with a team if a player can't do a single thing with it? If everything is based on bonus tokens, why even have salaries? We can't do anything with the money so it would be better kept with the teams instead. Am I wrong?

e.g. when I select Tour Bus it shows $1.68 mil - I should expect to pay $8.4 mil (5x1.68) on day 1 from my overage fund?
Or is the price multiplier already factored in to the display (I doubt)?
Finally - any way you guys could code in a projected expenditure for the season calculator as part of this page?
Seems like this is ripe for folks making a mistake and bankrupting themselves.
That's correct. It's not factored in the display.
But it wouldn't cost 8.4 correct?? It would cost 1.68 but we can only use 20% of our overage to pay for it?
Is this correct.
BTW: Are only allowed to use 20% for all seasonal items. or is it 20% per item?

I am trying to figure out what daily salaries is good for at this point. It seems that a player no longer needs money for anything. Can someone please explain what Players Salary is used for at this time, since upgrades are now paid for in bonus tokens not $$$.

Correct - $42m from overage fund.
Say you have $8 million in your overage fund and you plan to buy a season promotion that costs $2 million. Any purchases using the overage fund for season bonuses are 5x the price.
Promotion: $2 million ($10 million at 5x overage price)
Overage account: $8 million
The promotion will pull all $8 million from your overage account then grab the remaining $400k from team cash.
($400k is 1/5 of the $2 million promotion cost. The overage took care of 4/5 of the cost at the 5x rate of $8 million)

Player salary will have an expected range (like ticket prices for example) that is based upon a players Effective Level, Skill Point Value, and position. Their Morale Reserve will be based upon whether they are above, within, or below this expected range as follows:
Min Salary = Morale Reserve Bonus 0%
Bottom Range of Expected Range = Morale Reserve Bonus +2.5%
Desired Salary = Morale Reserve Bonus +3%
Top Range of Expected Range = Morale Reserve Bonus +5%
Max Salary = Morale Reserve Bonus +10%
With the morale reserve bonus scaling between those points.
For example, a center with an effective level of 70 and SP value of 1100 might have a salary range of $400,000 to $700,000. If their salary is $400,000 they would be at the bottom range of expected range and would get a Morale Reserve Bonus of +2.5%.
Because teams can negotiate contracts upwards in season and there is the possibility of player movement via trades and free agent signings, a player's salary will be based upon their average salary for the past 20 days. If a player moves to a new team either through trade or by signing as a free agent, their average salary will reset to whatever their salary is when they join their new team.
NOTE - the signing bonus requirement will be removed.

Overage account payments are 5x more expensive for seasonal promotions (Lodging, Travel, and Entertainment) If you buy a seasonal promotion (Lodging) that costs $1.5 million, your overage will be charged $7.5 million (5x the $1.5 million price). If you want to buy another promotion (Entertainment) at $2 million, the overage cost will be $10 million. Total overage costs for both promotions would be $17.5 million.
Whatever is remaining unpaid after overage funds are depleted is pulled from team cash at 1:1 of the remaining balance.
