I agree that trying to equate a VA to a SA is a pretty poor choice since VA's are free, and SA's are well thought out in advance.

I would be all for sacrificing 15 VA points to pick up the SA to level 10. That would of been a better choice by Bort.


10 points in the SA does not equal the 15 in VA.......so that is a moot point

I'd also like to know who you think is affected so negatively. I do agree that if you were building with a certain VA plan in mind that it sucks, but most dots who don't already have these to at least 10 will be so young that a build adjustment won't be very difficult. There will be no "cure all" answer for the change, but the way they are making the change affects the least amount of agents as possible negatively and in the least negative way possible. Were they to just keep them, we'd still have three overpowered VAs. Were they to delete them, late career dots would be completely screwed with no chance to adjust. This way we get rid of the VAs over time, the younger dots who don't have them yet will have time to adjust, and the older dots who can't adjust won't be screwed.

uhh yeah it's a pretty dumb move to keep some VAs around for some players but not others.

IF you give up 15 VA points to get 10 in a SA (you have to use them in that SA) how is that not a fair swap if both do the same thing?

For those of you not familiar, some of the VAs (that is Veteran Abilities) have been deemed overpowered. These are being taken away from anyone that does not have them. However anyone that does have these overpowered VAs gets to keep them.

Does this seem right? If a VA is deemed overpowered shouldn't they be removed or nerfed?
