Made me realize another thing.

There were some discussions last season, and seasons before, when Avenger and I did rankings.

We used to punish some teams for ducking scrims, even if it was a flex excuse.

I think I will adopt that rule too, for the unofficial rankings and for the tournament, if you duck any scrimmage challenge for any reason, then you can't be considered amongst the best.

You're just avoiding playing good teams to keep your record clean, and that's just lame.

Nope, not lame, some teams may not want to show there cards and its their right to do so. Teams like Atlantis and Vamps have EVERY right to be ranked among the best of the best. lolscrim is just that, lolscrim. Unless its tourny play there is no reason to discriminate those who choose not to accept a scrimmage game imo.

I don't scrimmage much because this damn game already takes up too much of my time, but I tell you what, I am glad to see the way Casual Pro has shaped up, it really is a good competitive league, and you guys help keep it jumpin!

Just because we have so many more competitive games this season then any season in the History of Casual. In the past we would see only about 3-4 games of 16 plyed, where tactics or gameplans need to be tweaked a bit, now, for most teams its alot more then that. The old "measuring stick" used via scrimmage games made up for the lack of regular season competition imo. With the tourny, preseason games and 16 regular season games, its more then enough to gauge in all fairness who is rankable. I couldn't hold teams like Vamps and Wolves accountable because they certainly have their many competitive match-ups more now then ever.....

Hmm, I guess I can see that point of view, don't agree with it though.

I think at the least, if you want to be ..say, top 5, or even top 3, you should take all offers.

I think that if a team is ranked above another team and the team above refuses a scrimmage when they have not played them before via any league or tourny, then ya, a team like the Vamps should drop down a rank if a team like yours gets rejected with no chance to find out if they can beat you or not. I agree, this could definately change things a bit. Did you get a scrimmage rejected by the Vamps?

No, I was discussing a scrim challenge with another team, I wont' call 'em out or anything...just irritating....and cowardly tbh. Poor sports if you don't want to risk a loss imo.

Does anyone really care about a loss in a scrimmage regardless if it has an R next to it or not?

No offense man, but if the scrimmages don't mean anything why i am ranked #2 in a tourney i have won for the last two seasons?

And Pete, alot of owners really seem to care...you would be surprised how freaked out people get with even a scrimmage loss.
