Theres no rush......

We have 42 days before this season ends. Thats March 19th btw, i'd say the longer we wait the better all these teams get because of chemistry issues and further recruiting needs.....

A little more motivation, this is the last season I'll be running this, last of the flex prizes from me too, .

I will pass on the trophies that are made for thru S20 possibly, depending on whom wants to run it after this, if anyone.

Ok everyone, we OFFICIALLY have 32 teams now, this is great news!!

We also have a very good variety of teams from many leagues and even more conferences. This tourny was 100% open for ANYONE who owned a casual team. Not having every Pro team in this is a good thing imo, it will be fun for the lower ranked teams to see how they stack up and also get some experience too, and i for one, am very glad there are many AAA teams and even one Uncapped!

That being said, i need to make a MUCH, MUCH over-due announcement, particularly pertaining to the Flex Point prize pool we win each and every season in this tourny and many former tournys. For the past 4+ seasons we have had this "Casual teams" only tourny. For the past 4+ seasons we've also seen many, many very good FP prize winnings to tourny champs, runner-ups and MVP's alike. We've also seen many very nice custom tourny trophy gifs for all the winners too, well, guess what, its ALL been provided by one agent. A very, very generous agent who's personal Flex Points paid for by himself has anonymously been the sole provider of all the final prize pools and trophy gifs 100%.

I recently talked to him about what we are going to reward the winners and runner-ups and wondered, where is this all coming from? To my EXTREME surprise, it has always been him. The GLB admins do the actual transfers of FP's and trophy allocations to team profiles but it was his giant generosity that has taken these seasonal tournys to the next level.

I've personally thanked him profusely for all this and could not believe that he actually removed his OWN team so as to make for an even amount of teams for this tourny for the Casuals last season, that FP prize pool was still 100% paid and committed just like all the other past tournys.

Thanks again Gman for this and I know you would have liked this to stay anonymous but i believe we (Casual owners) should know where all this generosity is coming from. For this, we are in debt to you, and i think you've done an admirable thing here and it is very, very appreciated indeed!

Cheers!

Ok, the season 14 Casual Leagues world championship tourny is set!

The link to the bracket and match-ups is here - http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=349623

It is also posted on the first page where ALL the teams participating are linked, you can use that to go a send a scrimmage to your opponent. Ideally we would like the higher seed to send the scrim challenge, but either team can take it upon themselves to do so too. If there is a reasonable amount of time that a team has not responded or rejects the challenge, it is an auto foreit and the challenger moves on in the brackets.

I used alot of variables in setting up the seeds, please know that i looked into all 32 teams in depth and sorted them the best of my knowledge for each and what they bring to the table to make it all fair as possible. (Things like roster size, effective level, avg player value, lolbars, pre-seasons thus far and past experiences by the owner).

I want to wish everyone the best of luck and i look forward to seeing how all this works out.

Please post in this thread if you can, with updated matches sent and/or game results throughout the season. We have alot of time to get a champion crowned but ideally would like to get it finalized before we all start game 1 of our playoffs!

Thanks again to GmanV2 for the generous prize pool as per usual and thanks to all the owners who committed to participate and use there own FP bank to pay for the cost of these scrimmages!

Cheers!
