Running a forum and keeping things in order is one thing, banning someone and only banning someone for two days for lousy comments made towards someone is another. If someone has poor judgement on a situation like that, he has absolutely no business being a moderator. If the moderator is unsure of how to handle a particular situation, he should report back to the moderator forum, and ask the other mods for advice on the situation... not be a power hungry ass about it.

It started as a Frontier Cougars are gonna run wild this season on everyone..... it got a little carried away, guy got banned for a moderator abusing his power and not reading everything and clearly thinking everything out. guy comes back from ban and then another thread is born...... it's just basically a bragging thread for the players team..... which is all good. It makes it more excited and gives everyone a little more reason to root for their dots....... a moderator jumped in and then we started discussing what a moderator ought to do and not do and how things got taken to far. I was a moderator for a very long time on another forum, so I kinda know what goes on behind the scenes..... some guys wanna be mods to be dicks, and some just wanna be mods to reap the special benefits, and others do it because they wanna give back and don't mind. Hope that sums everything up for you.
