+1 as well. It seems there will always be those arguments between those who are fine with everything being tedious and think you should be rewarded for doing the tedious things vs. those who believe the basic game feedback should not be tedious. I'm in the camp of the latter...as my application of the word 'tedious' is something that the simulated role would not have to do themselves.
If the game is about simulating the role of a coordinator (for example) then the coordinator does not have to "figure out" which play was called during the game. They obviously would need to figure out what the opposition called...but certainly not their own team. The "benefit" of knowing the plays by heart imo(until we get custom Off plays that is) should be that you'll more quickly identify which of your players are running routes correctly, setting tactics, whether your line can block long enough for this type of route vs. that type of defense, etc.
