I think that silver 8 is a real mystery for rankings this early in the season ...last season it was a real surprise to me personally, that Boston got up ...not taking anything away from them, coz they demolished the cows in the final as like the cows demolished my team in the conference final ...I guess that's why is was so surprising, coz the scumdogs, cows and butte were good teams, and proved that for the entire season leading up to those losses ...there are a couple of new additions to this league that I believe are gonna be a threat also, so I am looking forward to an entertaining season in S8

After doing some preliminary evaluation on S7 I think calling it the strongest in Silver is either a matter of interpretation, or a sign of just how weak Silver is.

Granted, the top 5 teams are solid but going through each team's roster I was amazed at just how BRUTAL things are, I mean 13 teams have 10 or less non-CPU players! That is insane! Only 7 teams have more than 40 non-CPU players, which means that the remaining teams have somewhere between 11 and 36 on their roster.

Sure, it is still season 11 and teams will likely improve, but for 85% of the league their season is over before it has even started. I would love to have a script that could do an analysis on all the Silver leagues to see if this is how it is all over, because I can only imagine how awful Copper leagues are.

It was an eye-opener for me, and a CRYSTAL CLEAR message that we have way too many PeeWee leagues. We knew this already, but it is just ridiculous. I know Bort is reluctant as you don't want to have the level of competition in Silver to rival that in Gold, but there are way too many garbage teams out there. The schedule hasn't come out yet but I am anticipating that Crib will only have to gameplan for about 3 games during the regular season....give me old L10 anyday.

did you really waste that much time drawing that up?

It goes pretty quick actually. Open each team in a seperate tab, switch to roster and just make note if they had less than 10 or over 40. Did the league in about 5 minutes. Now my league write up took a bit longer, but it was a labour of love.

i barely have the drive to train my players, tbh.

well my team i have been in charge of since sunday is already down to just neeedin 15 players to havin a full plyain roster..

Lies, we're only in Silver because someone said something about a My Little Pony convention and we all got real excited, now we find there is no convention and we're stuck here... Atleast we still have the Barbie Showcase to look forward too!

Not that I disagree with that completely, because I dont, but there are still a lot of lvl 1 guys in the marketplace looking/willing to play peewee.
Unfortunately a disproportionate amount of them are not up to what most would consider their "standards",ie.not built on day 31, already spent the 15 pts, not all 8's in non-important abilities, non-boosters,no-CE, goofy demands, etc..
a quick check of lvl 1's on the marketplace I could field a full roster of 55 scrubs with a bit of work. with the only position lacking would be DE's.
and there are a lot of lvl 1's that dont have marketplace adds but LFT also.

I found a WR in market not the best in the world.. REQUIRING Max daily pay and Max signing.. I said F that I can make better and not have to pay half that much..

I just signed a guy today who said he had 30 offers. He was from the Marketplace.

why would you not pay max salary? I give all my dots max money anyways

I put 5 guys with good builds on the marketplace advertising day 31. I got 10 offers within the hour on one guy. I left two guys on the marketplace for probably 24 hours and had at least 40 or 50 offers on each of them.
