Anyone have an idea why they were gutted?

hmm... could it just be that all the contracts ran out on the same day and the owner hasn't renewed them yet?

Let this be a lesson to you. Teams that have 25 of their players owned by the team owner will always die a horrible death.

They will always have a spot close to our hearts as the only undefeated team at the end of season 1 in Oceania Pro, who then got beat by the #8 ranked Titans in the first round of the playoffs. They put us upstarts on the map.

Us too since we "upset" them in the second season for our first "big" win.

I don't think that Bort would let a pro team go all season long with a CPU owner. I'm sure that an owner will be assigned to it. I mean hell, this aint the miners! This is the Pro's boys!!!

New owner will probably be assigned at tonights rollover. It sucks how many teams in this league have been gutted and abandoned in the first two years. It's going to take at least two more to make things right by relegation, and longer than that if more teams quit.

It's not just this league. I've had 2 owners quit on me in the US A and B leagues in the past 2 days. I think by offering too many teams they are trying to make as much money as they can at the expense of quality of owners.
Mark my words, there will be a league reduction sooner than later.
