he is bitter about being a Rams fan. And I am personally staying away from any player on that roster...including Jackson.

Marc Bulger has a higher career QB Rating, completion %, YPA and TD to int ratio over Eli. Jackson has been much better than any Giants RB, he has ran for 1000 yards in 4 straight seasons behind a terrible OL. And Atogwe is better than anyone in the Giants secondary.

You throw in the NYG stadium, outdoors, with those winds... if you're throwing indoors then your rating, completion %, and all of those other stats better be higher.

I'm not saying Bulger is or isn't better than Eli, but I am saying that those conditions will change anyones stats.

I'm not saying either, I'm saying Eli's numbers reflect an average QB.

I'd say slightly above average. And given the conditions he's throwing in, I'd say Eli is probably a top ten QB... who was the last QB in NYG land that got this much love from the NY media? Simms? 20 years ago?

Oh yea, you go ahead and take Jacobs over SJax, beautiful move - you can come give your $$ away to me in one of my leagues anytime.

Jackson is going too high in drafts. With bulger hurt already, limited receiving options...I will go with the TD machine running behind the Giants O-Line.

I play in about 3 fantasy leagues each season. If you want to play, lets get in a league (i wont play if money isnt involved because i wont pay attention).

Eli is nowhere near my top 10, he's in my 13-16 range. And yes, his conditions are harsh but it's not like he's a lot better on the road, in Eli's career, his home and away numbers have usually been fairly close.

Ubass, those limited receiving options play to Jackson's strengths. That will make him the Rams top option as a receiver and their rushing game is their priority. Plus the Rams are almost always going to be getting Jackson the ball in the Redzone. Jacobs 15 TD season is not going to happen again imo, it will likely drop to 8-9 TDs. Bulger has an injured finger, it's nothing big and nothing that will linger.

No, 8 men in the box = good, Jackson = elite threat as receiver and the Rams have serious deep speed with Avery and Robinson. If a team stacks the box, they will kill them over the top and Jackson will get a load of receiving yards.

The guy is a mid-20something who has won a SB and led his team to the playoffs every season he's started. He's not going to set any records and of course the entire team plays into success, but there's no way there'd be 10 teams that passed on him if he were available free of charge.

If EVERY QB was available, I don't think he'd be taken until the 13-16 range. And I'm not asking for records but his completion % and QB rating are pretty awful, he has had 1 respectable season as a QB which was last year. If he can replicate it, he'll jump up lists but after Plax left, his numbers dropped so that doesn't sound good for Eli. However, Hakeem Nicks looks like Boldin 2.0 so that could end up helping him.

I guess we shall know later in the season and I will come back to remind you of how correct I was

You mean when you come back to thank me for telling you to pick Jackson? And how can you disagree? No team can stack the box and not be vulnerable to the pass, Avery is one of the fastest guys in the game and burnt a couple very good CBs last year as a rookie.

In the SJax/Jacobs debate, noone has brought up Ahmad Bradshaw vs.... who? Ahman Green? Jackson doesn't come out... Jacobs does. So while the Giants may get more yards and points, Jacobs will be on the field for a lesser %-age of those. Jackson is it for St Louis.

What this means is if Jacobs goes down, other Giants are still viable options because Bradshaw keeps them honest. If Jackson goes down, the Rams are screwed. So factor that into drafting other players on those teams. But if Jackson or Jacobs both stay healthy, the only one losing touches is Jacobs.

agreed. I simply expect Jacobs to do more with less touches. based on Jacksons ADP (1.08) he should go before my selection and I can grab Jacobs in round 2
