Promotion Script favored non-competitive leagues. Kinda hard to post a stellar league record when you have 4-6 of the top 32 teams to fight through.

+1. I think we could make a good argument that about 5-6 teams could be up here. (Westside, Crib, Deep South, Dsylexik, Arizona at times, and Dharma)

Maybe you should get an Old news league 10 Forum like TT says...you guys can type the same damn thing in there like 100 times. And take turns reading it.

I think everyone already made comments and MANY of them that they agree DSBM, Cribs, WestSide, Dsylexik had as good a shot as any team getting promoted to Gold.

I am affiliated with some of these teams, in having players on, or friends with Owners, Coordinators, or GM's 1 or more of those teams.............

Listen call it like it is. You do not see one of those teams owners continue to say anything about it, they are making due and know they will be there very soon and making good out of a bad deal. The only owner I see that has not quiet accepted it is Dharmas and they are only the best of the rest imo.

I have not seen sickand10 cry about it or mjr14...They accepted it as what it was worth. None of us flex buying patrons were able to be on the Board of Directors to promote any team.

I know it is old news. And we do have a L10 Private Forum, but these guys are still bitching about how the league is messed up because they ended up in Gold and they don't want to be here. So I'm just stating that a good amount of L10 teams could be here. And I know the Gold was supposed to be the elite, but I think for at least the first season it should've been like User-picked, and not a script. Then once you get the Owners core top 32, you can really get it. Like I'm not trying to take anything away from anyone, but without that run, Coastal wouldn't be here and more likely than not, Deep South or Dyslexik or even Westside could've been up here.

I agree though that the L10 owners are just sucking it up and being prepared for this season. I'll be rooting for almost every former team.

Yeah. I just think Bort should've tried to get more feedback on our part for the team selection. I mean, the PW Owners are the ones who get this whole league restructure so I would think he'd ask for a little input on our part. Like I said above, CEP could've been a fluke and they could end up going 5-11 but I doubt it because they were reigning conference champs in back to back years.

No, read where it says "It could've been a fluke" meaning maybe an eight seed makes a championship run but isn't really prepared for the big show. I also said they were the back-to-back conference champs, so why would they be a fluke?

I was commenting on teams who got late starts with recruiting having a tougher time in a league full of day 31s, But if it got you pumped up for the game, well I'm glad I could help. NIce win, I'll tell Jbleitch to sell his team back now, it's hopeless.
