Hmm, the Caninites moving up into the Zeta Conference will add to the nice rivalry story with both them and the FFLivewire Cans being from the same town.

Sweet!

M.A.D.?

Well, probably not.

So, are you going to keep lukin83 as your gm?

I will be removed from GM status and brownhelmets will be removed from his GM role on the Caninites.

It's obvious that not everyone has the ability to take the moral high ground that Hammer does. Different owners will have to handle "agents" in their own way. This is a game though and I think that any of us would be naive to believe that a certain amount of 'spying' didn't occur.

This year I believe we even had 'disgruntled' players giving out tactics. It's just bound to happen.

I know for a fact that we traded away a player from the other team I GM and he gave away our entire game plan to the opponent, so it does happen.

That's noble and sounds above-board... but you still know if a lot of players haven't boosted... you know about possible signees, players about to be benched, etc.

I'm sure it's okay, but none of my owners are allowed to have players on other Oceania Pro team - they have to choose. Overly cautious? Perhaps. But it's not like there aren't a million other teams they can go play for.

Well I can understand because you do not know me well enough to trust me, but other than the tactics PMs I am not corresponding with either team until after the scrimmage is over and I have no reason to want either team to have an unfair advantage.
They are both great teams with great staff involved and I want them both to win honestly, the 2 owners have treated me fairly since day 1 and I wouldn't give plans away for either of their benefit/detriment.

Trust me, our teams are rivals! It is going to be fun. We started out as one team in the first season. We had a lot of disgruntled players. So the Caninites were born on season 2. We got put into AAA. We meshed as team, we won our conference championship, and are now moving up. We are from the same city. We shared player builds and such with each other. Now we have to take our planning to different boards. It is on like Donkey Kong. It is a rival a lot of players had been hoping for later down the road. Nobody expected the Caninites to move up so rapidly. FFLW Caninites were the FFLW CAN rejects.

Let the rivalry begin.

I requested they both lock my access to their forums if/when we play each other in a game besides a scrimmage. One of them locked me out already for the Scrimmage we have tomorrow between the 2 teams.
If I can't read the strategy, I can't give it away.

P.S. I have the OCs and DCs PM me personal player tactics.

I have players on the Canberra Strike, and as stated before would would have them lock me out, and PM me my tactics (assuming G.B.R. stays in Oceania Pro, which isn't likely no matter how much I would like to.)--I also look at my players' other teams to make sure they don't have anyone on our opponents for that week.

We'll show them who the rejects are. Big Dawg can't carry King Stone's jock, OR weed stash!

Do many "agents" have players on more than one team in the same conference or league? I'm not even referring to Dusty above (I didn't look it up); it just made me wonder. I mean, you're going to know specific tactics about "another" team either way.

One of my players got a contract offer from Vincennes once (I don't think they realized that I GMed a team in Oceania Pro, probably), but I turned it down for that reason and left my other player over in the American leagues. I don't have a problem with other people having players on multiple teams in Oceania Pro (as long as they're not on the Pride), but I'd rather not myself.

To be honest its not even a rivalry.....the Cans suck and we don't. When the Caninites play the Toilets (Cans) many of us will lose friendships over the beating we will hand the Toilets.

So I can count on what, at least 13-14 bktk's if we run up the middle? I'm shaking, Mr. 37 tackles.

It's hard to get tackles when everyone of your teammates are all pros. Also I doubt he would make it past the line anyway. :shakesfist:

That's fine, if we can't run, we'll just throw it over the top. Our OL is a force.

Dawg can't carry a piece of equipment Stones neither owns nor has any use for.
Unless, of course, he has recently acquired one to wear backwards to take care of that little "seepage" problem he has.

What kind of wine? As you might guess from my player name - Gran Rioja - I'm a bit of a conossiuer (I am drunk on good wine too, but even sober I probably would spell that last word incorrectly.)

There is some league in south america, whichever one has the "Scotch Cocks" in it... aka "Malachorn the loser") where some teams have a GM on just about every other team in the league. Its crazy how corrupt it is. Ironic too, this instability being in South America, where at least government is overthrown just about every year.
