...with PeeWee #3?

They seem to be a pretty good league too. What if we do a challenge with those guys like how some of the college basketball conferences do? We can either use the rankings Sick posts or develop our own within our forum and then pit the top 10 against their top 10. I'd be willing to coordinate it and work with someone over there if you guys think it'd be worthwhile to challenge them.

Just trying to throw out some thoughts to see how tough our league is...

Sounds like fun, I don't know if we could get 10 teams from here though. I can only think of about 8 that post in here.

top 8 here vs top 8 in #3 could be neat.

Just need to get on it asap if you want to finish.

btw those rankings are from the greasemonkey script GLB Power Rankings V2 - not the best but you get the idea.

It would be too much work to use the other rankings for league 3.

They could develop their own rankings as could we. Right now I say Crib #1, then the winner of our next game #2 and the loser #3. From there we could figure it out to a point where I think most of us could agree. Head to head games could sort out ties or debates over a ranking.

I'm in! I don't really care about the rankings, whatever you guys come up with--sounds fun!

It'd just be one game for everyone. They're #1 vs. our #1, they're #2 vs. our #2, etc. The league with the most victories has bragging rights until next season anyway.

Same. I'm in. We may not be a top ten team though so.

Crib is in....I would suggest to get a list from both sides on active owners wanting to participate and then decide on the matchups. You open it up for all teams to participate. Once you have the list, you then decide the matchups. Just a suggestion.
I could also get Vandi to enter the Cereal Killers even though we arent a top contender. Up to you juice. Im ok with whatever we put together...Sounds like fun

Sick's rankings have you at #10. I say we'd determine it ourselves though. It shouldn't be hard to determine the 10 teams. Then we can let head to head determine the exact rankings. I see it like this right now (and beyond Crib, I'm basing it soley on this season -- not that Crib has shown any reason not to be ranked #1).

1: Crib
2: Winner of DSBM vs. DTMCF
3: Loser of DSBM vs. DTMCF
4: West Side
5: Cornchuckers
6: Winner of prehistoric birds vs. Cougars winner if Birds (otherwise Coastal)
7: Coastal unless Cougars win #6, then Cougars
8: Loser of prehistoric birds vs. Cougars
9: TT & all of DI's unused SP's
10: Lehigh (they have much more respectable losses than a few teams with better records)

I think that's 6 from the west and 4 from the east with #1 residing in the East. Anyone else want to post up a different ranking, feel free and we can hash it out. Let's make this happen.

Will do. I was just thinking top 10 because I figured all 10 of our league would be in. We can do more if we want. I'll contact the #3 guys. Thanks. Oh, and post a top 10 for us. Let's see where we think our teams are.

That's a very solid lineup--I wouldn't argue with any of it.

I'm also the dc for a team in league #3, and they do have a very competitive league as well. I still think league 10 has a better overall league as far as depth goes.

I would do an odd number to ensure their is one true league winner...maybe top 11....that way if it comes down to the wire it will be 6 to 5, not 5 to 5

I think this is a great idea. I wish I had posted it, as I was going to suggest 5 vs 10, as 5 is pretty loaded also.

I am involved with teams in all 3 conferences, and 3 is top heavy, while 5 and 10 are deep.

Maybe that will have to wait for S11.

If it is started earlier in the season, it might get done for all 3 leagues.

That is assuming the Pee Wee Shuffle doesn't happen.
