Maybe there should be a cap on how many players a team can nominate, so people don't go overboard.

Might also thin out the skill position nominations, as, for example, Zeta owners won't nominate their HB when they know Chief is a lock and Ronnie probably has any backup spot sewn up...

No teams are just nominating their entire starting lineups, we're asking owners to be reasonable and it's really not as crazy as you're attempting to make it sound. If you want to nominate some players, then go for it...not sure why it's a problem.

This will make it easier for the arbitor to analyze and select the best players.

It's real simple now. Owners nominate the players they think are their best performers thru the season. And post the names here. Simple.

Then, the arbitor himself, alone, will sit down and make the objective selections of the pro-bowlers.

It could be. Most have paired it down to those they feel stack up with the rest of SE Asia Pro. If you think your entire starting lineup is worthy, then, by all means.

I also think that not just the best statistical players should get in.
For instance, Penguins CB Ron Malone's stats in context of his team's DB stats could be really high, or really meritorious.

An over-achiever on a sub 0.500 team.

Those kinds of things should be taken into account.
