I don't think anyone really knows. They're more to warn users against repeated posting, rather than a waiting list

Intimnasc your complaint doesn't hold water because you're saying "you can delete the thread, but you can't edit the thread." If you have the superseding power to remove, then you should by extension be granted the smaller powers of line-editing. To say it's "censorship" belittles the fact that a more powerful form of censorship is already available; this type of censorship is less powerful and should have already been afforded to team owners and forum moderators on said team forums..

Since it's a very logical and "Epic-worthy", I think it's safe to say that it's NGTH.

Because everyone knows all the good ideas that go EPIC Never happen.

I consider editing to be the more powerful of the two. You can literally put words in my mouth. The other way all you can do is delete.

Back to the discussion, if you have problems with an owner abusing his mod powers and being a dink, perhaps thats just not a good team to be on. Its like saying Owners shouldn't have control over the depth chart, because they can make you not play.

Fully agree with this statement just not in favor right wrong or indifferent.

When you say smoking bans don't hurt businesses, have you ever lived in a metroplex situation? Say Fort Worth has a smoking ban but Arlington, Dallas, and Weatherford do not, You don't think Fort Worth businesses might lose some business to those cities? I use this area as my example because I live here. Arlington and Weatherford are 20 minutes from Fort Worth and Dallas is 1 hr.

I never said smoking bans don't hurt businesses, but if its city wide, all businesses MUST follow that rule. In more rural or isolated cities, all businesses are at a disadvantage.

its like saying the rams of the 90's had an advantage because they played on astroturf, which is faster. But wouldn't every team they play be playing on the same field? It neutralizes the advantage.

In more congested areas, sure, some businesses might lose out on business, but not much. Are people really going to go an extra hour out of the way so they can have a smoke? Probably not. If they're that hurtin for a smoke, they go outside.

Again, we've changed this into something that has nothing to do with the topic.

Also, if you say that owners should not have the right to edit posts on their private forums, why should mods and admin get rights to do it here? Last i checked, this was all BOrts private forum. If its morally wrong for me to edit mine, he (or his staff) shouldn't be able to edit his.
