To get the ball rolling on this and because no one has suggested a better way, I'm going with this concept for creating an All-Pro team.

Each team can submit 10 nominations to the ballot. They are limited to 3 of their own Offensive players and 3 of their own Defensive players but are not required to nominate any of their own team members if they would rather nominate 10 people from other teams.

For KR/PRs the position that player normally is dicates whether they count against the offensive or defensive limit for an individual team.

This is an All-Pro team so pick the best players from the whole league - not just your conference.

Multiple nominations don't carry any weight, so if someone is alrady nominated, nominate somebody else (or don't - up to you). Yes - this provides an element of strategy to the process.

Nominations are due by the end of the last day of the regular season. At that point, the ballot is locked and we'll start voting on that.

Please keep any arguments about the merits of any nominations out of this thread for the sake of keeping it clean. Those arguments can go in the voting thread once the ballot is created.

Format your nominations as follows:
Nominating team
Position: Player: Team
Position: Player: Team
Position: Player: Team
etc

For example:

Indian Ocean Fish
QB: Slomo MacDonald: Antartic Ice
HB: Kwame Kowalski: Cook Island Cannibals
etc

105 tackles, 10 INTs, 6 FFMs, and 46 PDs? Thats insane, dude gets my vote too even though multiple votes dont mean anything.

How often is he thrown on to get 105 tackles and 46 PDs?

Also

91 tackles, 18 sacks(League leader), 2 INTs, 4 forced fumbles, one fumble return for a TD

Quarterback: Risto Matley
3,712 yards(League leader), 26 TD passes(2nd in league), however also has 16 INTs from when we were adjusting to the passing changes

Wideout: Klaerth Juraviel

I don't know but we have a pretty good defense, so they have to throw it somewhere, hehe.

Here are my nominations from the Titans

RB: Train Wreck 4.9 YPC, 1259 yards on only 259 attempts, 21 TDs, shitloads of broken tackles that I'm too lazy to count up.

C: Kwame Brown Leads the league with 196 pancakes

TE: Bull Frog 534 yards on only 47 catches. 7 TDs. 3 of them from 50+ yards out.

P: Theo Thundertoe 2nd in the league in avg yards per punt. Hits touchbacks from our own 45.

CB: Dan Delwrecko 75 Tackles, 58 PDs, 4 INTs

From the rest of Zeta (I can only vote by who we've played against):

WR: Chris Sexton - U Canes: Lit us up like no other WR. Great hands and great speed

DE: Henry Brown - Brisbane Gods: Single handedly broke up our offense with 12 tackles, 1 sack 1 PDF and 1 TFL against us. A brutal D Lineman to play against

QB: Paka Palofitas - Tongan Crimson Auha: By far the best QB we have ever faced.

RB: Paul Wayne - Vincennes Vampires: We boast the best run D in Zeta, and he ran the most against us. Gotta give him his props.

C: JFollowMe - Outback Astronauts: Only 65 Pancakes overall, but by far the best O lineman we played against this year

He gets thrown to a lot, for sure. But we have a level 17 SS, the other starting CB is level 17, and our #3 CB is 13, so opposing teams really have no choice but to throw to someone. All in all, they seem to be largely ignoring the other CB (one of my guys, who gets most of his tackles on HB pitches to his side of the field) and throwing to Vernon, which obviously isn't very smart since he burns them for at least one big play every game.

I think Sammie Maroney should definitely be on there too, for New England. 1594 rushing yards and 19 TDs, with a receiving TD as well.

Yeah, Sammie Maroney had a really good game against the Bandits who are usually petty good against the run.

Posse is a sick RB. For example, check out this sequence of numbers:

90, 15, 22, 8, 66, 17, 61, 1, 52, 20, 32, 5, 32, 28

That's the total number of yards for the leading rusher of each of the Pride's opponents. We've been shutting down running backs all year, and that's at core part of why we've been able to hold some really good offenses in check. The 90 was Posse, and he got a TD as well.
