My slowbuild level 6 OT:

Attributes
Physical Attributes
Strength: 26 (22 natural)
Speed: 9
Agility: 17
Jumping: 8
Stamina: 12.5
Vision: 14
Confidence: 13

Football Skills
Blocking: 22
Catching: 8
Tackling: 12.5
Throwing: 9
Carrying: 8
Kicking: 8
Punting: 8

No Special Abilities

I'm intense training Str/Blk and have 40 SP's saved up. Since he's obviously not specialized yet should I just shoot for 68/68/68 in strength, blocking and agility in that order? Or is 60 on each good enough until I specialize?

If not 73/73/73. Both sides will want that now I'd say

I remember reading you saying elsewhere that, for a LG, it would be better training and 1st capping confidence before allocating SP to Agility. Is it right? Or do you stick with 73/73/73 before anything else?

I'd probably still do that, yes. You'd be 3 levels behind on agility, but end up with 60 confidence instead of 50. Those 3 levels on agility at 0.2 gains (but now cut to 0.11) has a 30% chance of making you miss the cross-over. So you'll either lose 1 agility or.. not lose anything at all... by waiting 3 levels on it. I haven't done a projection, totally depends on how you build, etc., but my guess is those extra 10-15 levels of huge confidence gains at 2:1 is worth missing 3 levels on agility all the way up.

I am trying something like this with my LG: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1476532

Jamaall The Wall (Lv. 17 G)
Ht/Wt: 6'1", 331lbs

Next Level: 933/1000

Attributes
Physical Attributes
Strength: 91.71 (73.71 natural)
Speed: 8
Agility: 25
Jumping: 8
Stamina: 14
Vision: 24
Confidence: 31.71

Football Skills
Blocking: 59.71
Catching: 8
Tackling: 14
Throwing: 8
Carrying: 8
Kicking: 9
Punting: 8

will 68 cap blocking while training agility/vision, change to speed/agility and 73 cap blocking. Train 1 more time strength/blocking to rollover (both 99% now) and back to speed/agility. 48 cap confidence and only after that will cap 73 agility training speed/stamina. Let's see how it works...

What do you think is the ideal Height and Weight for each position?

blk 60, agi 60 str 60
blk 68, agi 68, str 68

You just do the str first because, as I mentioned in the original post, it has no other training options so it has to go first.

The best capping strategy is usually to "seesaw" like this, it gets the most long-term points value unless you really want a particular stat much higher. Not the case for the OT. Let equipment decide how to customize the build as you want!

I did strength last in the top 3 (Blocking then agility then strength). Strength pairs with stamina. That is how you can cap it and still train it last. its a good segway into going to stamina/confidence. Then you can go vision/conf. I did it with my LOT Experimental build...hence the name.

What version of GLB do you have with Strength/Stamina training pair

damn, I have been drinking too much (damn Johnnie Walker Green Label). Yeah, i never trained anything with that. I just remembered.

I heard there was a training script floating around somewhere. it also allows you to keep pumping a VA with only one point

how would you spread your EQ if the team is pass heavy? i'm thinking short-middle passing not the long passes.

I just wanted to say thanks for having this awesome guide - it's an incredible resource and I wish the other positions would have something similar.

any changes now with the new player creator? i just rolled a new center and minimized everything except strength and blocking. maxed the strength and put the rest in blocking. went with the shortest/heaviest player i could make to maximize the strength and blocking. his strength is 27...blocking 20. with the ability to get both strength and blocking to caps faster is it worth it at the expense of the other attributes?

I'll find out. Just did the same thing, with a G, a few days ago ( except for the short part.) Didn't have a detailed plan in mind , just seemed the way to go, in light of how my older G(lv46) has gone. *shrug* ???
